MARY BETH STINE has degrees from Stephens College and the U of I. She has been teaching at FHS for 22 years and is currently an instructor for Family Ecology, Cooperative Career Education, is the Vocational Director and is the sponsor for FHA-Hero. In her spare time, she enjoys walking, Honda riding, swimming, golf, and tennis. DALE WAGNER, in his 7th year, is director of the Library Science and Media Center. He has degrees from both SIU-C and SIU-E. In his spare time he enjoys reading, writing, and gardening. )ERRY STRINGER is in his 9th year as instructor for Psychology and PE as well boys' tennis coach. He is a graduate of Murray State University and enjoys tennis, racquetball and camping in his free time. |OHN UPTON, the Building Trades I and II teacher, is in his 6th year at FHS. He graduated from SIU-C and enjoys restoring antique cars. TOM WELCH is in his first year at FHS as instructor for American History and PE. He is also the golf and varsity boys' basketball coach. He is a graduate of Illinois State University. He enjoys any and all sports in his spare time. DON TALMANT is the instructor for American History and Experience Based Career Education. He has been with FHS for ten years and is the girls' tennis coach and a graduate of SIU, where he received his BA and his MA. He enjoys playing tennis in his spare time. ROBERT WHEELER has been at FHS for 14 years. He is a graduate of University of Illinois and instructs Agriculture, Small Gas Engine Repair, Agriculture Power Mechanics and is the sponsor of EFA. Flying Washer Pitching Contests are the interests of his free time.

ANNE RILEY has spent 16 glorious years at Flora High. At present she teaches Mythology, Survey of English-Lit. Ill, and Advanced Composition IV. She is a graduate of McKendree College. In her free time she enjoys FHS spectator sports (especially football and volleyball). Playing with grandchildren, doing needlework, reading, and gardening rank high on her list, also. DONNA SMITH is in her 7th year at FHS. She is the instructor for Shorthand I, Clerical Practice, Typing II, Executive Secretarial Practice and also is a sponsor of the National Honor Society and the Business Club. A graduate of EIU, she likes to garden. 10 PEGGY RIPPERDAN, a graduate of SIU-C is in her 12th year at FHS. She is the Physical Education instructor. In her spare time, she likes to play golf, go boating, and read. KAY SPITZNER is the Algebra and II, Senior Math, and Vocational Math teacher. A graduate of SIU-C, she is the sponsor of the Math Club and Mu Alpha Theta. Having taught here for 22 years, this was her last. When she has spare time, she enjoys babysitting for her grandchildren, camping, sewing, knitting, reading, and listening to music. TOM RIVER has been teaching at FHS for four years. He teaches Spanish I, II, III, and IV. He is a sponsor for the Sophomore Class as well as Spanish Club sponsor. He is a graduate of SIU-E, who likes to play piano. JOANNE STANFORD is involved in the Success Program at FHS and is in her first full year of teaching. She is a graduate of EIU and enjoys bridge, traveling, and visiting historic sites.
