|IM BAIRD, our Political Science and U.S. History teacher, is a graduate of SIU-C and a veteran of 13 years at FHS. His hobbies include tennis and Shame . LUCY BURGESS is a graduate of EIU and an FHA sponsor. Before coming to the high school six years ago, she taught twelve years at McEndree. She teaches Child Care and Cooperative Career Education. In her free time, she enjoys painting, gardening, sewing, and reading. WILLIAM BERRY is celebrating his silver anniversary with FHS. He instructs Wood-working I and II, Cabinetmaking, and Coop. He is a graduate of SIU and enjoys doing church work, hunting, fishing, and studying the Civil War in his leisure time. REBECCA CARSON is beginning her 4th year at Flora High as Comp ll Lit Tech II, Survey English Survey Lit., and Creative Language teacher. She received her BS from EIU and her MA from Evansville. Besides being the Letterwomen sponsor, junior Class sponsor and Assistant Volleyball coach, she enjoys horseback riding and fishing. CHARLES BUCHANAN is in his 8th year at FHS. At present he is the instructor for Remedial Math, General Math, Adapted PE, and Driver's Education. He is the head coach of the girls' basketball and softball teams, and he also sponsors the freshman class. This graduate of EIU enjoys tennis, softball, golf, Shame , and life in general. BETTY DILL, a graduate of EIU, is the General Studies instructor. Entering her third year at FHS, she enjoys oil painting. Girl Scouts, and Business and Professional Women's Club.

BOB ELLIOTT serves as the Accounting I and II instructor as well as the classroom Coop instructor. In his 14th year at FHS, he is the Business Club sponsor and a graduate of SIU-C. In his spare time he enjoys jogging, weight lifting, farming, and horses. JEANNE HAVES teaches General Business and Typing I, and also sponsors the Senior Class and the Harstan. She received her BS from EIU. She has been with FHS for three years and enjoys swimming and crewel embroidery. She has been busy this past year building her new house and keeping up with her daughter PATRICK ESTES is instructor for Industrial Education Orientation, Basic Electricity, Advanced Electricity, House Wiring, and Everyday Shop. Being a graduate of Murray State University this is his first year at FHS. He sponsored the Senior Class float. He enjoys photography, metal enameling and ceramics. ELICIA HENDERSON, a graduate of EIU, the Learning Services teacher, the cheerleading sponsor, is in her third year of teaching at FHS. She enjoys taking care of her daughter Brandie |an and doing latch hook in her spare time. MIKE FRY, our Biology I and II and Earth Science teacher, has been teaching for 14 years and is a graduate of EIU. He enjoys deer hunting and Metal detecting in his free time. STEVEN LEE spends his spare time listening to. playing, or singing music. Completing his sixth year at FHS as Comp. l Lit. I, Survey of English l Sur-vey of Lit. I, and lournalism I and II instructor, he still finds time to sponsor the Locust Log and Quill and Scroll. A graduate of SIU-C, Mr. Lee teaches night classes at Frontier Community College.
