Events The FHA held an international induction ceremony in the home-economics room to bring a close to the school year. Retiring officers conducted the ceremony for the in-coming officers, Lori Wheeler, Rhonda Wathan, Lisa Masters. Emily Bunnell. Kendal Evans. Pam Sehie. Susan Knapp, Kathy Dunahee. and Stacy Wells. Each retiring and newly inducted officer received a rose as recognition for their achievement. The eleventh annual FFA parent-member banquet was held March 13. The officers provided the opening ceremonies and the dinner was served. Following the meal, Vice-President Walter Steele introduced the guest speaker. Bob Quick (State FFA President). Lee Lewis honored Donna Matlock, the 1979-80 FFA Sweetheart. Kevin Heimann recited the FFA creed, then Mr. Wheeler showed a film “Preparing for Progress which showed members involved with projects. Presentation of awards was done by Lee Lewis. Entertainment was provided by Dean, Mike, and Gary Randall, and Brian Ganauer. 4
