Pastel pink, blue, green, and yellow crepe paper, silver and blue fountains and other decorations caught each person’s attention as they made their way. The crowd waited in anticipation for the dance to begin, but the band, Amaritto, prolonged the uneasy crowd a while longer because they were late in setting up.
