U, S. history classes learned the national causes of the Civil War along with Napolean's mistake at Waterloo. Besides the principles of consumer economics, underclass- men learned specifics of the wage-price-rent freeze and the difference between relief and political maps. After a study of behavior patterns, psychology students discovered why they cry when they break up with steadies, and a field trip to three mental institutions exposed class members to levels of mental retardation.
