Jl 0 y The ups and downs of the junior class: Mrs. Martha Hawkins. Sponsor; Carolyn Marley Treasurer; Bill Shaffer. President; Murray Langston, Vice President; Gerald Clingenpeel, Secretary. I remember starting off my junior year in a whirl. Money was the only thing in our minds since our treasury was deflated at that time. For money-making projects we had a car wash at Berkey’s Dairy, a sale of memory books, and our play A Lucky Penny. Play practice took up many study nights, but we later agreed it had been worth it. Keeping secret the how's, when's, where’s, and why’s of the prom was a big task. 30
