Florian After choosing the theme, History of the Schools of Monroe Township, the Florian staff set to work. A successful subscription campaign was staged, new pictures taken and old ones sought, history and cur- rent events revived, and the sale of advertising space completed. Everyone was always in a rush trying to meet those dreaded deadlines. The proofreaders were and kept busy marking out grammatical errors and inserting those needed words. Miss Metzger was always backing the staff to help produce a. better and more interesting school paper.
