ScutcAute Society '‘Helpfulness and kindness to others is the motto of 63 high school girls who make up the Sunshine Society. The Flora girls, who take great interest in the organization, were hostesses to the district's annual fall convention on October 14. Nearly five hundred girls attended this all-day meeting- The Sunshine girls also held two bake sales during the year and sold soft drinks, candy, and ice cream at all home basketball games. Mrs. Ruth Murphy is sponsor of the society. A Sunshine Society Project 28

The large trophy was won by Mr. Thompson's 4-H judging team at the Purdue Round-Up in June. It represents high placings in general livestock, beef cattle, sheep, and swine.
