A-TEAM BASKETBALL First row: Student Manager Mitchell Sanderson, Dale Day, Don Bewley, Coach Risingcr, Paul Shields, Joe Fouts. Second row: Jerry Albaugh, Steven Mills, Charles Voorhees, Gene Michael, Jerry Jordan, Conrad Burton. Flora played the toughest basketball schedule that it has ever played in any previous year. Against such teams as Sheridan, Attica, Rossville, Culver, and West Lafayette, the Badgers never gave up until the final buzzer sounded. The team was also one of the most hard-fighting teams in the county. Coach Risinger’s boys fell before an undefeated Richland Center quintet in the Regional. The Badgers should be equally as good next year because they will lose only three of their players — Burton, Albaugh, and Shields.
