FRESHMAN CLASS Thirty-two freshmen wandered into F. H. S. last September ready to conquer the world. Their viewpoint had changed somewhat after initiation. However, they proved to be good sports about it and the many other difficulties which Frosh inevitably encounter. For initiation, the girls were attired in up-side-down skirts, their hair was in pin-curls, and they wore men’s boots on their feet. The boys wore gunny-sack dresses and makeup. The boys who played basketball were: Tom Bishop, Dean Shoff, Bill Fouts, Craig Fouts, Earl McKinley, Eddie Allen, Jim McCracken, Joe Viney, Jim Calendar. The band members were: Nancy Marvin, Marilyn Dyson, Craig Fouts, Earl McKinley, Joe Viney, Dean Shoff, Bill Fouts, Anita Yunker, and Arlene Plank. Dean Shoff was their representative in the Student Council. Class officers were: President BILL FOUTS Vice-President EARL McKINLEY Secretary TOM BISHOP Treasurer EDDIE ALLEN Sponsor MR. JARRETT
