JUNIOR CLASS As we look down the line of classes, we see the Jolly Juniors” eagerly looking forward to being the future Seniors of 1950-51. They began their third year with twenty-four members but will finish with just twenty-three. The athletically minded ones participating in basketball are: Michael, Jordan, Mills, Bewley, and Fouts. Those representing the musical side of the junior class are: Fife, Dyson, Landis, Shope, and Allen. Michael, Mann, and Douglas have the honor of representing their class in the Student Council. FRESHMAN CLASS Thirty-two freshmen wandered into F. H. S. last September ready to conquer the world. Their viewpoint had changed somewhat after initiation. However, they proved to be good sports about it and the many other difficulties which Frosh inevitably encounter. For initiation, the girls were attired in up-side-down skirts, their hair was in pin-curls, and they wore men’s boots on their feet. The boys wore gunny-sack dresses and makeup. The boys who played basketball were: Tom Bishop, Dean Shoff, Bill Fouts, Craig Fouts, Earl McKinley, Eddie Allen, Jim McCracken, Joe Viney, Jim Calendar. The band members were: Nancy Marvin, Marilyn Dyson, Craig Fouts, Earl McKinley, Joe Viney, Dean Shoff, Bill Fouts, Anita Yunker, and Arlene Plank.
