I, THOMAS D. JENKINS, will my height and physique to Gene Michael. I, MITCHELL L. SANDERSON, will my ability to flirt with girls to Bill Mann. I, JAMES NELSON SHARP, will my clear explanations on questions to Jean Nevin. I, PAUL ROBERT SHIELDS, will my eighth grade love affairs to Betty Isaacs. I, SHIRLEY BARBARA SHOFF, will my quiet ways and actions to Martha Humberd. I, LAVERNE ALTA WILES, will my riotious laugh to Donna Feltcnberger. The first vision to come clear in my crystal ball is a girls’ soft-ball game. Guess who is manager and coach? None other than Jerry Albaugh. Jerry, who was unsuccessful in making the big league baseball, decided he would take second best and become a coach. P.S. Jean plays second base. As the vision becomes more clear, I see two hobos riding the rails on the local freight train. Why, I do believe it is Bill Adams and Conrad Burton. It seems that the boys were driven to this life because of women. Conrad couldn’t get along with his first six wives, and Bill decided women were evil to a good man.

 SENIOR CLASS WILL” Ladies! Gentlemen! I called you to assemble here as a solemn duty, that you, the heirs and assigns of my respected client, the class of 1950, may hear her last will and testament, which as her legal advisor, I drew as directed by her immediately prior to her passing from our presence. Attention — I shall begin! Quiet! Ahem! Ahem! We, the class of 1950, in the city of Flora, the State of Indiana, the country of America, being in good mental condition (as usual), in a much better temper than usual (considering what we’ve been through), do make this, our last will and testament, hereby revoking and making void any heretofore made, or mayhap carelessly spoken, one to the other as the thoughtless wish of an idle hour. To the Faculty, we leave a sense of relief, for at last we have graduated. To Mr. Callane, we leave an example of an ideal” Senior Class. To the jolly Juniors, we leave our ability to get along in government with just six books. To the silly Sophomores, we leave our ability to reach a majority vote in class meetings. The next vision is a huge palace in Arabia. I’m told the emperor is none other than Mitch Sanderson. Mitch has a harem of ninety-four wives. He says he just couldn’t resist all women. One woman was boring to him. In the next vision, I see Senator Jim Sharp from Indiana, trying to pass a bill for pension for old-age farm animals. This is his fifth year trying to get this bill through. Well, what do you know? It couldn’t be true, but it is . . . Joan Draper and Laverne Wiles! They had set out to Hollywood to be in the movies, but it seems that they didn’t make it for they are now posing for the comic sketch, MUTT and JEFF. Next, I see an orphanage. Oh! Pardon me! It isn’t an orphanage. It is the residence of Paul Shields. Paul, who gave up the idea to be a newspaper editor, is now the proud father of seventeen children. He is manager of the local Tiddely-Winks Club. Pardon me for just a minute. The door bell just rang. Here I am again. It was a messenger from the Tom Jenkins Co. He wanted me to put up a poster, advertising: See us if you want to be tall.” It seems Tom must have grown since his high school days. In the next vision I see a jail house and a convict being given the third-degree by a tough detective. The one beating him is Dick Tracy” Carter, enemy of all crooks. Dick decided to become a policeman after someone stole one of his airplane engines. In the next vision I see the campus of Indiana University. The school has gained two new professors. Professor Eleanor Beam, professor of Physical Education, and Professor Shirley Shoff, who is in charge of the University’s wrestling team. The girls decided a career was more important than men. P.S. They both go with two of the University’s wrestlers. As the vision starts to become faint, I see a classroom in old F. H. S. The children seem to be without a teacher, but school has taken up an hour ago. No wonder. Their teacher is Mr. Dean Isaacs. It seems he forgot to get up again. Dean always did have that trouble. The last vision is the stage play, Rio Rita.” And guess who has the leading role? None other than Mrs. Effie Douglas. It seems that Mrs. Douglas was so influenced by teaching dramatics, that she thought she’d try the stage herself. What! You say I told you about only thirteen wonders. Oh! Yes, I almost forgot. I am the other wonder, Jack Fulton, also known as Jack-O the Fabulous Fortune Teller.” I was driven to this life by women. It seems I couldn’t understand them, so I thought the Crystal Ball might tell me.
