All the freshmen looked forward to initiation day trembling with fear. The girls wore overalls, their hair in pin curls without a scarf, and no make-up, while the boys were altired in girls' short dresses, women's hats, and make-up. Those taking part in band are Carol Flora, Carol Wilson, Jo Cena Calhoun, Joan Montgomery, Julia Shanks, Bill Mann, Dick Sink, Clyde Zeek, Peggy Jenkins, and Walter Kelly. The boys in basketball were Dale Day. Bill Mann, Dick Sink, Clyde Zeek, Bill Edmorson. Walter Kelly, Charles Voorhees, and Dick McPherson. The sponsor of the class was Miss Metzger.
