CLASS OFFICERS Sarah Garren, President Mary Ellen Bagwell, Vice President  “ Helen Moore, Secretary Joe Lance, Treasurer CLASS PROPHECY Ten years hence, and what a vast change in the lives of the '54 graduates of Fletcher High School! The noted gypsy, namely Marie Fletcher of the Ringling Brothers Circus, was staring into a large crystal ball. Suddenly she saw a dim vision of the '54 seniors, As she turned the crystal ball, the vision became clearer, for thememory of graduation was still on her mind. Ethel Wilkie has finally achieved her success in acting; she is now starring in My Little Margee,'' on Radio and TV. John Ann Howell, now bald from using so many experiments on her hair, is the sole owner of the Howell Wig Company. Evelyn Owensby has passed the standard qualifications in baseball. She is now playing with the American Olympics. Joe Lance became the president of the Eastman Kodak Corporation in Rochester, New York, and drives the biggest, shiniest Cadillac in town. Richard Buckner is now professional boxer for WBTV in Charlotte, matching with Rocky Marciano every Wednesday night. Doris Jones is secretary for the Roanoke Brick Manufacturing Company in Roanoke, Virginia, Eugene Wilkie has become the manager of the Brooklyn Dodgers team, which has won a pen- nant every year so far. He's doing so well that his name has been proposed for commissioner, Mary Ellen Bagwell has reached her life's ambition. She iste aching the third grade at Ashe- ville Country Day School. Bobby Jackson and Don Youngblood have joined their Uncle Sam and are now on furlough. They have been in the Army six years and have just signed up for another term, Johnny Frisby is now nationally known as Frisbee Marshall, Sports Photographer. With him is David Raines, now pitching for the Cardinals, who won two pennants for them. Frisbee and Raines came together from New York where Frisbee had taken pictures of the games. F. G. Barnette has gone into the Rummage business. He is now going around the neigh- borhood of Spartanburg collecting old coats. J. B. Millard, who hated to leave school, has now gone back to school as the janitor. Paul Guinn has taken the place of Gene Autry and is now ''Back In The Saddle Again,'' re- freshed with Doublement Chewing Gum. James Barnwell has taken the place of Arthur Godfrey, while Arthur is on vacation. This is more profitable than selling slabs. A. J. Cunningham now is seated at Miami Beach as life guard. Survives all-saves none, Sarah Garren is now working at the U. S. Treasury Department in Washington. Handles all-has none, As Marie turns the crystal ball a little farther, she wonders what has happened to her old pal Don Hensley. Oh! there he is as General in the Air Force. He just inspected his new jet. Alvin Walker has become a physician. He is now in his laboratory trying to develop a new set of brains. Nita Kirby and her husband are finally together for good, since he is out of the service. They are building a brick house and Nita is making the mud, L. M. Bagwell has profited so much by working for his father that he has become the Presi- dent of the Red Bird Corn-Meal Manufacturing Company. Buddy Calton has become an explorer and is now being worshipped as the Jungle God in Africa. Connie Carmack has moved back to Arizona where he owns a big ranch and is now rounding up cattle every day. T. J. Ballard has just finished his course for Diesel Engineering and OH! watch out! there he comes down the track in the latest diesel. Helen Moore is really seeing the world-riding the mountains with her new husband, on sad- dle horses to watch the sun go down. Marie turns thecrystal ballagain andagain, but the vision has gone.
