They operate and maintain all of the equipment comprising FLETCHER's ASW battery. The sonar techs are FLETCI-lER's Sub Hunters , operating a variety of underwater detection gear in search of an elusive enemy. The ASROC Gunners Mates and the Tor- pedomen operate the ASROC launcher and the torpedo tubes, ready to launch a weapon at a hostile enemy.
