SYDNEY AUSTRALIA Though there were many grumblings on Fletcher when we realized we would have to spend another month away from Pearl Harbor to visit Sydney, few felt cheated when we left. The beauty of Sydney and the surrounding country-sideg the hospi- tality of the Australians and their real respect and friendship for Americansg and the many joyful opportunities for parties, sports and entertainment we en- joyed there created in us memories we will pleasantly retain and a strong desire to return as soon as possible We believe that there is no individual or group more worthy of the dedication of this book than the people of Sydney, Australia.
