★ Sidetracked Many students arrive at school as early as an hour before the first bell rings and have quite a lot of free time. There are many favorite hang-outs within the school but there are two certain spots that are more popular than the others— the library and the gym. The students spend their time studying, doing last night’s assign- ment, or enjoying a friendly game of chess or basketball. In some instances there may be as many as four basketball games going on at one time. Either place is a great place to sit and catch up on the latest. And still at the end of the day someone will have a candy bar or some other treat saved to tide them over until its time for supper.
