 Sports These are the teams that have played and 3tood up for our good old School, Flemington Hi, throughout the achool year od 1941-42. They had strong will power and they played to win. Both teams have had a very good year in basketball. Y e went to Jane Lew and entered into a tour- nament and made out very well the first night with a win over Walkersville High School. The second night we mot the end with Barricksvillo defeating us very badly. ’«Yell we can understand that because they havo gone up to play for the State Championship of West Virginia. ■7c had a very good winter for these trips, but getting transportation for these trips was a problem. That’s why our girls played only a few games this year. Y e finished the year in a vory good way, considering both teams. Together with our having a good year in this sport, wo had a swell coach taking part in thi3 game too. Hr.Hall has boon a swell coach for our small team. Y e hope him a great deal more success also many future teams. Our two teams have shown good sportsmanship and played good clean games. They also had to have good team work before they could play much of a game. On March 23-24-25 the Inter Class Games were played, but Simpson did not enter this year so it was all left between the classes of Flcm- ington High School. 7'ith the ending of the tournament we ended another season of baskotball with the prizes cheering section going to the Seniors. We might add that the Seniors of 42 say: Flenington High School—Ya Ya Ya.
