Tnlalicno Foreword HIS VOLUME OF Tl-IIE ECHO is an earnest eiTort,onthe part of the staff, to picture the life and interests of our high school. The great diversity and variety of student activities makes it imperative that only those activities, which are of greatest social worth, be included in such a limited view of our school life. The selection of the material for this book has thus proved a most diflicult taskg but, to the best of our knowledge and ability, backed by observation and experience, we have endeavored to portray a truly typical cross-section of our school life and activities during the present year. The staff has derived much pleasure from its efforts in compiling and publishing this volume.
