SENTOR CLASS OFFICERS Beatnices aund ct seer President Thomas Hill Pe eeerre Cec iccident Alice Gilbert. Secretary and Treasurer MASCOTS Linda Crisp Everett Shipman, Jr. CLAS eee The Senior Class is always the busiest class at Flat Rock High. Some of its members have a yearly job with the editing of “The Rocket’, the school paper. The Parade Staff is always made up of Seniors, also. In Dec., 6-11, Work Week was observed by all classes in the school for the purpose of raising money to help defray expenses. The Seniors contributed $45.25. On December 16, we journeyed to Bob Jones University at Greenville, S. C., to see the dramatic club of that school present the Shakespearean drama “As You Like It.” A box of clothing and toys were sent to a German girl named Christa Jahn who lives in Bremerhaven, Germany. It was hoped that she would receive the box before Christmas. Three other boxes of fruit, groceries, and canned goods were distributed in the com- munit y at Christmas time. The annual Junior-Senior banquet was held in the high school gymnasium on May Sth. The menu, decorations and program cleverly carried out the theme—“A May flower garden.” Senior Day was a weekend this year spent at Myrtle Beach, May 13th. The Senior play, “Dangerous Decision,” was presented in the school auditorium, under the direction of Mrs. Susie Sinclair, on May 19th and 20. ‘The cast is shown on page 41. Theresa Jones
