Utopia Inc. The Senior class presented the play Utopia Inc. on Friday, April 7. The play, written by Kurtz Cordon, tells of the adventures of St. Elmer. He returns to Earth and must give the Smith family one day of utopia (happiness) in order to qualify for the colestial exams required for the next promotion. St. Elmer (Steve Ramsdell) achieves this goal by: giving Gloria (Margo Headrick) A plus's and meeting Dean (Bill Stuart); Melody (Pat Johnson) meets Patrick (Luther Johnson); Lottie (Alice Scolfield) attains social status; Martin (Dave Ullom) and Angus (Denis Parsley) have a successful business venture; Randy (Mike Halter) and Joanne (Karen Jones) begin dating; Cousin Lucy (Deb Wittrock) becomes a changed person and Shirley (Deb Severtson) gets back into school and dates Larry (Garland Headrick). This Magic Moment . . will live on to the end of time ... The Junior Class pre- sented the 1972 Banquet - Prom, Roman HolidayM, on May 13. The Banquet was held at the United Methodist Church. A Roman mural provided a colorful setting. Babs Keck and Bob Keck were chosen to reign over the Banquet and Prom. Their court consisted of Pat Johnson, Jane Schmidt, Jani Wenge, DeVere Headrick, Les Heinemann, and Steve Mach. The King and Queen's throne was decorated with green and gold streamers, which hung from white Roman pillars. 25
