The members of the brass choir are (FRONT ROW): Louie Otey, Becky Schmidt, Mike Swenson, Kim Duncan and Karen Jones. BACK ROW: Marda Powers, Steve Mach, Tom Jorgenson, Bob Schmidt, and Ed Hofkamp. Three students participated in All State Band which was held in Rapid City this year. They were Janis Rahn, Shirley Sneve and Louie Otey. Pictured ABOVE is the brass sextet whose members include (FRONT ROW): Dave Swenson, Kim Duncan and Louie Otey. (BACK ROW): Becky Schmidt, Jan Gullicteon and Marda Powers. To the UPPER RIGHT is the flute ensemble. This group consisted of Linny Lyford, Laurie Bock, Becky Beatty, Brenda Powers, Janis Rahn and Diane Ludgate. The picture shown at the RIGHT is the percussion ensemble which was made up of Jay Olson, Bob Keck, Kerry Thomas, Dave Lee and Brian Cox. All the groups on these pages received superiors at the band contest held in Madison. 10
