Musicians Gain Recognition The 1969 All-State Band was held in Sturgis. South Dakota, on March 21 and 22. Dr. Gene Braught from the University of Oklahoma was the guest conductor. The members of the band from Flandreau are (back row 1. to r.): Melissa Hobson, Carol Herrick, Janice Leeland, Vickie Gunderson and Marianne Duncan.
