The poultry team, Gary Reinhart, Don Erickson, and Warren Johnson received a superior rating and was fourth in the state. Win Awards Alan Weise, Wayne Headrick, and Roger Lee were crop judging contestants. Wayne received a superior rating for his efforts. Paul Erickson, Bob Johnson and Leonard Heinemann received an excellent rating and placed 8th in the state. The FFA is one the largest organizations in the school system. Vocational Agriculture not only provides classes for farmers-to-be but also develops skills nec- essary for every occupation connected with agricul- ture. It may seem to the reader everyone enrolled in VO-Ag receives an award. This is far from the truth. The large number of FFA members throughout the state and nation furnish much competition and the boys on the preceding pages are true champions. 25
