G. A. A. The Girls' Athletic Association, whose purpose is to practice good sportsmanship and participate in various sports, was organized in September under the sponsorship of Mrs. Carolyn Yordy. There are sixty-three members who, this year, took part in the follow- ing activities: volleyball, basketball, baseball, badminton, soccer, and dancing. The highlight of the activities was bowling at the new Flanagan Lanes . The annual picnic is the climax of the year for our G.A .A. organization. The activities of this organization this year included a skating party, hayrack ride, potluck supper, initiation of green hands, initiation of chapter farmers, and basketball games . The Chapter won many team awards as well as several awards by individual members The Club also performed many community services . Science Club The Science Club, a nine-member boys' club, did work with a science kit and worked on a project for the scientific exhibit at institute. Miss Streid is the sponsor of this group.
