Senior Class Poem Happy Janet Z. complains she's always last, But she'll start my poem with a blast. A ready wit has Ronnie R. , And armed with it he'll travel far. With a whoop and a holler, there goes Joyce F . acting very merryg She must be after her good friend Gary. If someone asked about the peppiest cheer- leader I know, I would merely answer Willadean O. Bill D. just flew pastg He muSt be trailing a girl, I guess . Ole Rog R. never strays far: just ask where the girls be and there you are. So observing is Bud Y.: I remember when it gave him a sty in his eye. Sharon H. never seems to get forlorng I think the reason is a boy named Loren. Larry W. is a pal of mine, And in basketball and other things he does very fine . Myra J . is quite a pearl, She's so good because she's the policeman's girl. Lynn O. is not so very slow, Just think ole Orny built a radio. Marilyn and Marjorie P. are such intelligent twinsg When they play checkers, I wonder who wins Carol Jones is a new girl, And has made many friends during the year's whirl. We have two Linda O. 's, But telling them apart is easy as everyone knows. Glen H. has red hair: it really is bright, I'll bet he has to cover his head at night. Robert W. is quite a sight, He's so smart he's almost albrigi1t. My friend, Tom S . , thinks I'm quite smallg And I'm not really small at all. Carefree Bob S . is in quite a messg He louvered his hood with a fan blade, I guess . Harold C. is handy with a saw. In fact, he can build most anything at all. Marcia C. is always happy as can be, For she says giggles are always free. What's this we hear about Mary Nolan? A boy from Lexington, her heart has stolen If you ever need help, just ask Paul S . The answer he gives is sure to be yes. Janet T. is bolmd to go far, She's already won the DAR. Dave T. is the boy everyone calls Fuzz, Although no one remembers what the reason was . Vic T. is as adventurous as can beg Maybe he'l1 become a sailor and sail the sea. Related to each other are Fred and Paul U. Put your trust in either, and you'll never Boo Boo. A witty girl is our Kay Tullg Conversation with her is never dull. Pat H. is a gay girl, quite like the latter. She'll laugh at anything: what, it doesn't matter. La Donna M. , they said it couldn't be doneg But this L.M. gets the job done and has fun. Marilyn R. is a friendly lass, And with our class, she'll always pass . A pleasant personality has Jo Ann R. , And her grades in school were always up to par. For three years, Bev S . has been a cheerleader, And she did a good job says everyone who has seen her. If you think this poem is silly and actually quite queer, I see the nut who wrote it everytime I see a mirror. ---John G.
