Kaufman and Hart's dome stic farce You Can't Take It With You was ably presented on December 11 and 12 by the Junior Class under the competent direction of Mrs. Patricia Bar- ron. Three months of hard work and many night rehearsals made this a production which will long be remembered by Fitzgerald audi- ences. ' - ifliifff , .lift U The activities assembly brought forth colorful cos- tumes and signs to put in a plug for the various clubs and organizations in and around school. IH T When Lakeview High presented Our Town for an exchange assembly with us, the response was won- derful. Mary Eidt played the lead role with complete sincerity and charm. The first assem- bly of the school year brought our much-awaited for- eign exchange stu- dent, Giovanna Fessia. .assemblies ...and they continue through the entire school year bringing many entertaining and educational programs to students. The assemblies are sponsored by the student council in conjunction with the Student Relations Office. All of the holidays such as Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Easter are included in this series with appropriate band and choral selecti ons. In addition, programs are held to introduce the various sports in their season along with pep assemblies. American Education Week, the United Foundation Drive, and exchange assemblies with other schools are also a part of our yearly program. 55,4 -aj' . W-ew' ' An exciting Mexican hat dance is exhibited by Dance Club members and their handsome partners.
