THE FITCHBURG PLAYERS The Fitchburg Players previously known as the Dramatic Club has always thrilled and held their audiences. Thornton Wilder ' s Long Christmas Dinner was presented this year. The spring production was Shakespeare ' s Twelfth Night. Promoting interest in theater workshop, and helping and developing students to understand the techniques of stage production are the major purposes of this organization. GLEE CLUB One of the most talented organizations on the campus is our Glee Club. Its 60 members are dedicated to the enjoyment and appreciation of Choral Singing. The initial event of the year was .the Mid-Winter concert held in the Herlihy Auditorium on January 14. The April production of Kittiwake Island more than justified the months spent in rehearsal. This club well represents the college by its casual singing dates at P.T.A. ' s, clubs, and schools. This year our Glee Club displayed its talents for the Leominster, Fitchburg, St. Bernard ' s, and Athol High Schools under the more than able leadership of its genial director, Mr. Richard Kent. NEWMAN CLUB This club is well remembered in the minds of all T.C. ers for its spiritual leadership, Communion Breakfast, Spaghetti Supper, and well known speakers. The purpose of this club is to foster spiritual, intellectual, and social interests of the Catholic students at T.C. All denominations have been seen passing through the portals of St. Camillus to benefit from its advantages. The chaplin.
