COMMUTING MENS ASSOCIATION Left to Right John Oliva, Treasurer; Arthur Mulrain, President; George Dunne, Vice President Absent from picture Joseph Carlomaqno, Secretary Sponsor Dean Philip McMurray A great percentage of the male students at T.C. are commuters. In order that they may be brought more closely to the activities at the college, a Men ' s Commuters Association is in operation. It numbers 200 in membership. The C.M.A. ' s lunch and game room, with its cards, checkers, radio, and other sources of relaxation, has often been the scene of many a discussion or debate. The important events of this past year have been a lunch for incoming Freshmen, commuters ' picnic, and the famous clam bake. This association is an asset and necessity to our campus because of the activities it sponsors and the gap il tills in the life of the male commuter. .

Absent from picture Irene Danielson, Vice President; Jane Le Clair, Shirley Betts, Freshman Representatives Remaining loyal to their motto of serving all well in all ways , the commuting women could be found doing anything from painting walls, cleaning lockers, and serving coffee and donuts, to sponsoring school wide activities such as the Fall Fashion Show. One of their important functions each year is their joint Christmas party with the CM. A., always a memorable occasion. Every commuting woman is a member of this organization, which forms a large portion of F.T.C. Playing cards, doing homework, listening to the radio, assisting with class work, or just resting are the typical activities in their downstairs lounge. The board endeavors to establish a comfortable atmosphere despite the challenge presented by various renovations. Under the capable leadership of Miss Bolger, the Commuting Women ' s Board strives to satisfy the growing needs of the association.

GLEE CLUB One of the most talented organizations on the campus is our Glee Club. Its 60 members are dedicated to the enjoyment and appreciation of Choral Singing. The initial event of the year was .the Mid-Winter concert held in the Herlihy Auditorium on January 14. The April production of Kittiwake Island more than justified the months spent in rehearsal. This club well represents the college by its casual singing dates at P.T.A. ' s, clubs, and schools. This year our Glee Club displayed its talents for the Leominster, Fitchburg, St. Bernard ' s, and Athol High Schools under the more than able leadership of its genial director, Mr. Richard Kent.
