The Senior skit was of particular interest. Everyone, including the Seniors themselves, could not wait to see what they would actually do. For, not only did they delay until the very last week, but almost until the night before the rally. Yet, with many thanks to the starring perform- ance of our beloved church lady and the quick thinking of other cast members, the Senior presentation of Church Chat was quite a suc- (left) Regardless of the insufficient sound system, the Varsity Cheerleaders are still able to p erform their dance routine with skill and accuracy, (below) Senior band member, Chris Tree, pounds out the notes of La Bamba ' on her trombone. cess. Soon after, the Juniors zapped us off to outer space in their ver- sion of Star Trek, while the Freshmen class took us back in time to our Mr. Rogers days. A special commendation, moreover, must be given to the Sophomore interpretation of dancing fruit, We Heard It Through The Grapevine . Last, but definitely not least, came the great appearance of Johnny Most with a prediction of the 104th meeting of the cross-town rivalries. Furthermore, to conclude the rally, a few words were said by Coach Romano about the game as well as each and every individual player. Lastly, in order to end a perfect rally in the most perfect way, students, faculty, and friends all joined in together in a chorus of our beloved Alma-Mater. — by Amy Brideau (left) Kim McCoy's radiance shines through as she and the other Varsity Cheerleaders urge the football team on. THANKSGIVING RALLY To many students around the globe, Wednesday. November 25th was probably just an average day. To the Red and Gray students of FHS. however, this was a day not only to exhibit, but to show off their school spirit. As the students stormed into the auditorium early that morning, they were greeted with red and gray streamers, balloons, and other para- phernalia, as well as the FHS Marching Band, playing modern tunes such as La Bamba and Louie, Louie . To get things started, the Red Raider Varsity Cheerleaders psyched up the crowd with a few of their favorite cheers. The J.V. Cheerleaders then followed with their tribute to the football players with their Football Rap. Finally, it was the mo- ment we were all waiting for, the presentation of the skits. The student body becomes rowdy when Howie Nosek, the FHS red raider, leaps onto the stage. 18 ♦ Student Ufe
