Fads Flashes of the camera . . . sit, then stand . . . smile ... be natural! Pam Herhck and Lisa Yarussi seem to have missed their calling; they proved to be pros for pictures. Birds of a feather flock together, so for our final pictures we decided group pictures would be appropriate. Last time: Smile! One more flash, nine sighs of relief and it was over. Did we have fun!?!

What's an Annex? Lost Freshmen, schedules, new homerooms, old faces, and the teacher that I wish I had: all a part of that wonderful commotion that we call the first day of school. Oh, Yeah! They get to sleep late one more day! remarks a Freshman on the upperclassmen's lucky break. The hallways were filled with shouts of Did you see how much he's changed over the summer? and Her tan in outrageous! The 5th floor pool is still a mystery to the poor, deceived Freshmen as they wonder What's an annex? Maybe its up there with the pool! Okay, teachers, ready for some real excitement? Presenting . . . your class!!! It's that crazy bunch of kids whose heads you'll be trying to best to cram an education into for another year. We know that summer house near the lake that you just left looks pre tty good now, but its too late to run away. Hold on to your seats while we drive you up the wall! One more blessed year of high school for the seniors, those lucky devils who can stick their tongues out at everybody else. But don't get too happy, you still have 179 more days of tests, pop quizzes, and of dealing with those mysterious creatures called teachers. And, yes the hallways do look cleaner, but how long will they stay that way? Bustling bodies, questions, questions, the air was thick with confusion, which eventually but surely settled. Forgot where the gym is? Can't find a bathroom? Don't worry, this day comes only once a year! student Life 17
