Getting to School But as time passed you became harder and harder to satisfy. have to wake up half an hour earlier to walk to school. You were in control. Unfortunately, not even, one has his or her license during high school. There are those like Miche Miner, who still gets a ride from her father. She is here every day at seven o'clock. Sometimes she's here even before Mr. Sullivan! Then there are people like Karen Richard, who uses Walk and Roll: Remember when you were in first grade? Getting to school was so much simpler then: either you rode the bus or Mommy drove you. But as time passed, you became harder and harder to satisfy. You didn't want to share the bus with all those little kids. How degrading! On top of that, you began asking your mother to drop you off down at the post office so your friends wouldn't think that you were a sissy and had to have your Mommy drive you. Finally, you came of age. You got your license! No longer did you have to endure the ignominious crowding of a smelly bus. No longer did you (nghn Cheryl Banks. Karen Richard. Lon Moore and Denise Richard walk from the student parking lot on a chilly winter morning, (below i The Phongsamouth sisters watch the ground that they walk on. on their way to school.
