of getting a lifesaver onto another's tooth- pick is much more difficult than one could imagine. The faculty even got involved in this highly skilled competition. All in all, the Senior Reception was quite satisfying. Just about everyone left with a happy Memory to cherish or dirty clothes to wash from the day's rugged activities. If nothing else, I think the Seniors felt closer together than they ever did before. The pressure-free surround- ings seemed to have stimulated a jovial atmosphere. Hopefully, this enthusiastic mood will last throughout the year and reflect on to our underclassmen peers. Debbie Thibodeau does some fancy footwork, (be- low) Stop smiling Joanne, this is war! 13

Senior's were not as fortunate as others and discovered that their coordination is not as concise as they hoped it to be. Many of them wandered away with egg on their face , so to speak. Concluding the outdoor events, was the tug-of-war. Almost everyone participated in this challenge. As the Seniors tested their strength against one another, many came sliding to the ground while others smiled at their success. In the meantime, an on going volleyball game was in action that people came in and out of between activities. Also, a lot of Seniors could be found reminiscing about their childhood swinging on the monkey bars, playing four square and practicing hopscotch. Inside Crocker School, several Seniors discovered the gym. They played a light- hearted game of basketball or swung on the gymnastic rings. Soon, it was chow time and everyone waited in line for fresh- ly baked Kentucky Fried Chicken, which was a break from tradition. Most would agree it was worth the wait. With the familiar WAAF music in the background, the ceremony concluded with a tricky lifesaver pass. The challenge 1 Oh Lori. Oh Tim. OH LORI!!! OH TIM!!!! 12
