'83 In the Spotlight The class of 1983 has de- veloped a very fine stage presence since its first pro- duction, a comedy called A Case of Belonging, Pre- sented in the Competitive Plays of 1981 . The cast was a small one consisting of Kim West, Liz Chicknavorian, Donna Medeiros and Lisa Johnson. This sophomore play won no awards, with most of the prizes that year going to 1 981 's Games. By the time the Competi- tive Plays of 1982 rolled around '83 was ready with a soul wrenching play about a Jewish concentration camp of World War II. The children of Terezin made a lasting im- pression on not only the audi- ence but also those who were in the production. I Nev- er Saw Another Butterfly won two awards, Best Actor to Bernie Fortin who played Honza and Best Supporting Actress to Liz Chicknavorian who was one of the children Between pesky photographers and dirty mirrors it's a wonder we reach the stage. I Butterflies were stored in their memories. Devil Kim and angel Liz battle over a soul.

The Yearbook Story Only four days until our deadline and we've still got 30 pages to do!!! How in the world am I going to caption this? Where's the radio? We need some music! These are just a few of the things you might hear if you walked into room 315 any day after school. The Boulder is made up of a group of dedicated people who work everyday from 2:02 until 5:00 putting together the 1983 yearbook. Shifty , the yearbook ad- visor, is a hard-working and dedicated person who puts his all into producing the yearbook. The staff is con- stantly striving towards reaching the ultimate goal. The final deadline. In early June, when the book is finally distributed, the smiles for the yearbook staff will be the just reward for a job well done. Wendy takes judo lessons. Sandy expresses her point of view. 30 John hams it up. Jon prepares to photograph his next victim.
