Education is not something that is done for a student or to a student. It is what the student does for himself in developing his own powers. In 1976, our year of graduation, we have been privileged to experience a stimulating transformation in the educa- tional atmosphere of Fitchburg High School. The motivating force behind this change is Mr. Aaron Nelson. Through his involvement in the reconstruction of the disciplinary guidelines, his democratic thinking, and his fairness with students, we have seen a new and different approach to education.
