Zke Uouldcr - 1951 NANCY MARJORIE FLETCHER A lassie fair v.'ilb golden hair. Although Nancy is quiet and reserved, she is a well-likcd member of the senior class. She takes things as they come, accepting events calmly and without ado. Her sweet smile and friendly tranquillity make her a very nice person to know. Her admirable disposition predicts a happ - future for this pretty senior. DONALD FRANCIS FLOOD Silence brings friendship. Don is that smiling, happy-go-lucky fellow from West F'itchburg. His interests are many, but studying is definitely not at the top of the list. Don is a born story-teller, and alwa s has everyone rolling in the aisles. His easy-going nature has won him many friends, and will con- tinue to do so in the future. LILLIAN IRENE FORGUES It is your pleasant word, and the smile you wear. That makes the sun shine everywhere . Lillian is an active, easy-going miss with a cheer ' smile for every- one. She loves a good time, and no matter what happens, usually has one. She is one of our ambitious part-time students, and very .sincere about her studies. We expect she'll make a very good secretary for someone someday. Basketball 2, 3; Volleyball 2, 3. ALPHONSE MARIO FORMISANT One never becomes a gentleman by accident. Al is that tall handsome lad, with blond wavy hair and a happ - countenance whom you never meet without books. Two of his assets are: a fme personality which has obtained for him nian ' friends, and a ready ambition for learning. .W plans to study Businesss Administra- tion at Boston I'niversity in the future, and we wish him all the luck in the world. Football 3; Junior -Senior Relay 3, 4; Track 2, 3, 4. CHESTER LEO FORTIER Who says little has little to answer for. One of the unsung heroes of our football team, Chet has been active in school. He carries about him a quiet air, which leads us to believe he is either bashful or constantly meditating. Chct's plans for the future are as yet incomplete, but he is sure to be successful in whatever he does. Zke Moulder - 1951 NORMA LEE FAHLMAN Urr smiling eyes betray a heart of gold. Facing life with a smile is a habit with Norma who is always full of fun. In her leisure time she is usually found working at her father's bakcr -. She is fond of playing the piano and she also plays the clari- net in the high school band. Norma plans to .go into nursing after graduation. Band 2, 3, 4; Dramatic Club 4; Glee Club 2, 4; Orchestra 3, 4; Thanksgiving Dance Committee 4; Junior-Senior Reception. BRUCE DARRELL FIETZ He burns with the lire of good nature. A newcomer to our class in the middle of his senior year, Bruce lost no time in making many friends. He is carefree, always joking, and a real friend to everyone he meets. Besides puttering around his '36 Ford, he enjoys playing basketball and baseball immensely. With his merriment and good humor, Bruce may some day be a successful comedian. Baseball 4. JAMES MORTON FILZ am loathe to study; Let the world slide by. Bookkeeping, printing, music, and mountain climbing are among Jim's interests. Jim attends all the social functions and has served on many committees. At some future date he hopes to set up a print- ing business. He claims to be a logician. Debating Club 2; Glee Club 4; Boulder; Junior Prom Committee; Thanksgiving Dance Committee 4. RONALD MAX FISHER The role of my life is to make business my pleasure, and pleasure my business. Small in stature is Ronnie, but a dynamo of personality. Ever dis- plaxing a gleam of fun and mischief in his eyes, he is always willing to lend a helping hand. Besides simply being pleasant and fun to know, Ronnie has distinguished himself as manager of our footljall team. We hope he will receive in life everything he wishes for. Football Manager 2, 3, 4; Ski Club 3, 4. BURTON LINWOOD FLETCHER Never over serious, not too frivolous, but a rare good fellow. Burt the Flirt as the girls call him, is a husky senior who hails from Ashburnham. As a member of the vocational course, he has studied wood training hroughout his four years in high school. In the future, Burt expects t follow his father's footsteps in the agricultural field or join the U. S. Navy. 25

Zhc Moulder - 1 95 J BARBARA GROVE GAETZ Her smile, her speech, ivith winning li'ay, willed the darkest hours away. Barb is a tall, dark-haired lass and is a little on the quiet side. Her favorite pastime is swimming in which she excels maRniticently, Barbara is also a part-time secretary in our school guidance office. Barb's friendly disposition and ready smile will certainly lead her to success in the busi- ness world. 'olleyball ,5; Dramatic Club 4; 'ariety Revue Ticket Committee. SOPHIE CATHLEEN GASTALOS She has eyes so soft and brown. A girl with beautiful brown eyes and naturally curly hair, which are the envy of many, is Sophie. She has a friendly way and brightens each day with a cheer) greeting. After graduation Sophie will attend Johns-Hopkins Hospital to become a nurse, and we feel certain that she w ill make a fine one. Easketball 2; olleyball 2; Dramatic Club 4; Alternate Repre- sentative 2; Junior-Senior Christmas Party; Class Play Costume Committee Chairman. ELLEN MARGARET GEORGE Ready in heart and hand to do her best. Ellen, who is one of our part-time students, has a cheerful air about her, which is the doctor's prescription to add joy to any gloomy feel- ing. Her friendl.N' way and pleasing personality will not be forgotten by her classmates for a long time to come. Ellen has no definite plans for the future, as yet, but whatever she may undertake to do will be done well. Boulder. SALLY ANN GEREMIA Cheerfulness smooths the road of life. We have been fortunate to have such an enthusiastic little bundle of pep as Sally lor a majorette. Although she is tin -, she has more pep and initiative than most of us can boast. A very well-liked girl, Sally's contagious smile is a treat. Whatever she may turn to after graduation, we may rest assured it will be well done. Basketball 2, ; N'olleyball 2, 3; Majorette . , 4; Junior Assembly. LYDLA ANN GL COMOZZI As frank as rain or cherry blossoms. Winter is the favorite season of this short, dark-haired young lady and we can understand why. The briskness of the winter weather exactly matches Lydia's peppy good spirits. Her volubility and good nature have made her a pleasant addition to our class. Her future plans are not yet definite.
