Zhe Bulder - 1951 LUCIEX EDWARD CROTEAU, Jr. The M'ill to do, the soul to dare. Lou is tall, dark, and quite the ladies' man. We often cheered him on as he whizzed down the basketball court to 'hoop two, or as he raced down the cinder path or the broad jump or hitjh jump. He was al.=o a capable captain of the basketball team during his senior year. Lou is very gay and has a smile for everyone. We wish him the best of luck in the future. HELEN ELIZABETH CURTIS .1 smile for all, all welcome glad; A jovial pleasing way she had. Helen is one of the industrious commercial students who w orks part time for Miss Clark. Her favorite pastime is swimminR and during the summer months she served as life-guard at local ponds. At present she is doing secretarial work after school and plans to continue it after graduation. BETTY ANN DeBARGE Common sense is not so common. Bett is one of the best dressed girls of the class. She is a serious lass, but she keeps a smile on hand for all her friends. Betty is one of the unknown artists of the school. After graduation she plans to attend a school of art. Basketball 2, ; Volleyball 2, , ; Tennis 2; Glee Club FRANCIS JOHN DiCONZA Great men are dying, and I am feeling ill. Dike is a fellow who lets things come as they may, and usually fares pretty well. He has a certain mania for cars and trucks, which accounts for his ability as a mechanic. Driving a car or truck down Main Street or around town is one of his favorite pastimes. In the future, Dike plans to make truck-driving his career. RALPH JOSEPH DiGERONIMO am not in the role of common men. A fine athlete, a smooth dancer, and a neat dresser all describe Didge. He has taken part in everything from football and track to the Student Council. He's cool, calm and collected with a wonderful eas going manner. Massachusetts University is next for Didge and without a doubt he'll make his mark there also. Zkc Mder - 1951 PHILIP NAST COFMAN No mind is lliorougly -well organized that is deficient in a sense of humor. Phil has proved himself a good sport by taking part in several stage productions. He always has a pleasant word for everyone, and seems to have a mania for ad-libbing. We think that someday Phil ma ' wind up in Mexico, after undertaking three years of the Spanish language. MILDRED VIOLA COTE knoic it is a sin, for me to sit and grin. If you chance to meet a pretty blond girl strolling most nonchalantly along the streets of Fitchburg, you'll know it's Millie. Never in a hurry, Millie is full of fun and fancy free. She is an accomplished skater and proved her skill on our stage. MARYRUTH COURTEMANCHE A delightful ray of vivacity. Maryruth has the gift of being able to get along with people. Be- cause of this she is the type of person that ou cnjo ' having around. All sports interest her, especially swimming. She likes her work at Burbank Hospital and hopes to make nursing her career. Basketball 2, 4; Volleyball 2, 3, 4. DAVID BREWER CRAMM His talents are of more silent class. David resides in Ashburnham, but comes here because of the machinist course offered. David is the quiet kind, but always enjoys a good laugh. For sports, he enjoys hunting and fishing along with most of the winter sports. After David graduates, he plans to go right to work. BEATRICE ANN CRESSY Happy am I, from care I am free. Why can't they all be contented like me With a great big smile, Bea greets one and all every morning. Alert and business-like, she takes her lessons seriously, and her pastimes lightly. She enjoys dancing tremendously. High school days were all too short to enjoy the company of our friendly little classmate. Such a peppy, cheerful outlook on life will surely bring an interesting future to our Bea. Zke Mder - 1951 PAULINE ELIZABETH DIGNAM Always quiet, yet always iiiaki)ij; friends with those she meets. Lovely brown eyes and an equally lovely smile — that's Pauline. Although casual acquaintances find her sweetly reserved, her close friends know her to be overflowins with enthusiasm and fun. Swimming heads her sports list followed closely by badminton. Pauline plans to be a secretary. DOLORES MARY DONNARUMMA A good disposition is more valuable than gold. Dolores, better known to her friends as Del, has light i)lue eyes which can be, on occasion, ver ' thoughtful or simply dancing with fun. She is a friend to be trusted and relied upon. A conscientious student, Dolores i.i: blessed with an unusual steadiness, which, aloni; with her wonderful disposition and spontaneous laugh, predicts success in her career as an elementary school teacher. Dramatic Club 4; Glee Club 4. JAMES HERMIDOS DUBE Gee, hut I'm a busy man. James, a prominent member of the vocational course, claims West- minster as his home. He does ver - well as a machinist and accomplishes everything he sets out to do. He works after school at Smith's Box Shop in Westminster. After graduation, he hopes to further his know- ledge of machines. We know he will succeed in his chosen field. Alternate Representative 4. GILBERT DIPPERY DUGAN A boy with a curl, ahi ays catches a girl. Gil, a peppy and spry fellow with an abundance of dramatic abilitv, has a jovial personality which has won him man - friends. He is well supplied with short, curl - dark brown hair and cheerful remarks. Danc- ing and acting are his paramount interests. Gil has the right ambition to make a success of himself in College. One of the many good looking seniors, Duke is well known for his blond, curly hair and masculine build. He has a pleasing smile for all whom he greets. George took part in e.xtra-curricular activities, and is well liked for his good nature and fine personality. His future plans are California bound.
