Zhe Boulder - 1951 ELEANOR ALICE KRODIE One by one she climbs the steps Onward to her goal — success. A hidden spring of charm lies buried within Ellie. It bubbles out continuously, making her a most interesting and well-liked member of our class. Discussions of ps choloj;y (and just plain chatter) rank hifjh on her list of like best to do. Her present ambition is to become an English teacher. She'd make a good one, and we wish her the best of luck. CARLINE RUTH BROWN The pupil of impluse. A smile is always a pleasant thing, but it seems as though Carline's friendly grin is especially warming. This tall, likable girl with the dark brown hair enjoys reading, dancing, writing, and watching sports of all natures. May the future bring success to a particularly affable and pleasant classmate. Dramatic Club 2, 3, 4. EVELYN MARION BROWN The H'urld deals good-naturedly with good natured people. Evie is well known and well liked here at Fitchburg High. .An athlete as well as a scholar, Evie was a perennial winner of the coveted .' miott award, while having her name appear on the honor roll ever. marking. Active in all school functions, Evie is one of our snappy major- ettes who has performed her duty well. She is bound for the University of Massachusetts after graduation. May every success be yours, Evie. DONALD WAYNE BURKE He who will not hate his joe Need not fear life's hardest blow. Don, with the clipped blond hair and blue eyes, is a resident of Winchendon, but came to our school to benefit from the auto mechanic course offered here. He has a hobby of stamp collecting but surpas- sing this is his great love of puttering around his automobile. He is in the National Guard, but would prefer entering an aircraft school rather than the army. ALBERT EARL CADRETTE He is a man of silence and sense. There arc no high strung ambitions or great dreams of wealth and power for Caddie since he simph' desires to marry a certain girl and settle on a small farm. Here he intends to raise two collies and carr on construction and maintenance work which he does so well. Class Motto Committee. 18

Zhe Moulder - 1951 ANGELO LOUIS BILIONIS li'ould rather be right than he president. Possessinp a contagious smile and two pleasing dimples, Angle is the type of fellow who constantly keeps a class in an uproar. His deep voice emitting witty remarks is ever welcomed by all. Arguing is his favorite hobby and he is seldom known to lose. To study dentistry is at present his main ambition. Dramatic Club 4; Glee Club 2; Senior Prom Committee; Junior- Senior Reception; Class Ring Committee 4; Senior Reception to Faculty 4; Variety Revue 3, 4; Competitive Plays 4; Class Play Chorus; Class Play. RAYMOND LESTER BLOOD My tongue within my lips I reign, For who talks much must talk in vain. Ray is a happy-go-lucky, athletic fellow who is alread ' planning to build his own home in the near future. Possessing a great interest in sports, he knows a few good tricks in basketball, is a rather good skier, and enjoys the thrill of stock car racing. Ray will go into the trucking business with his father after being graduated. JOAN ELLEN BONNALLIE A contented spirit is the sweetness of existence. Here, there, and everywhere is Joan. She never apparently is in a hurry but you can be sure that, hurrying or not, she is on her way to some important club meeting or such. She manages all her activities capably and well, still reserving ample time for lessons. Her infallible good-nature, spirit of co-operation and capability predict four successful years in college. JOSEPH ADELORD BOUDREAU One I love, tivo I love, three I love. I say I Joe has been the mighty little manager of our track team and has also proved that he can play the smooth master of ceremonies at our assemblies. His home life in Winchendon is a bit of a mystery, but judging from his frequent references to Lulu it must be interesting. Track Manager 3, 4; Debating Club 3, 4; Dramatic Club 3, 4. PHYLLIS ANN BOURGOIN Zealous hut modest. We all know how girls love to talk, yet Phyllis possesses the rare cjuality of never speaking unkindly. In her own shy, quiet way she just takes possession of our affection, promising never to give up even after graduation. Phyllis is a part-time librarian and will make someone a fine secretary. Zhe Moulder - 1951 w BETTY ANN CALAMARE Had a tongue at will and yet u as never loud. Sweet is the word to describe Betty. She has a friendh' personalit and possesses many tine traits including a fine sense of humor. Bett ' has lovely li ;ht brown hair. She is a neat dresser and wears her clothes with an air of fine poise. She has an even disposition that many of us envy, and which will bring her happiness in the future. Basketball 2; Volleyball 2; Junior Assembly; Boulder. HOWARD CECIL CAMBER Tall of stature, ivide of grin. Howie is one of our apt vocational students, and definitely, every inch a gentleman. We understand he is quite anti-feminine, and this is confirmed by the shy grin which he gives each of his girl-acquaintances. Howie is interested in machines and will probably take up machinery in the future. Class Ring Committee ; Junior-Senior Christmas Parts- 3 ; Boulder. DIANE ELAINE CAMERON She's here, she's there, she's all about, Lots of fun and a real good scout. Di is a very cute blond with big dimples. Because of her never exhausting vim and vigor, it is fun to be with her, and she has been the cause of many a hearty laugh in our dramatic productions. She is active in all school activities and is vice-president of Tri-Hi-Y. Di hopes to enter college in the fall. CYNTHIA ANN CAMPBELL Some like work, some like play; I'm for both. Charmingly s hy, and for that reason all the more attractive, Cyn stands out as one of our most popular blonds. She is an excellent student, due perhaps to earnest striving as well as to natural endowment. Her plans center around a career in the Waves. We all know she will have much success in future years. JOHN CARLSON Calmness is not always an attribute of innocence. John is a fellow who never says much, but is always ready for a laugh, along with the rest of the mechanics in the vocationar course For sports, he enjoys the life of a hunter, and is an all-round outdoors man. After graduation, John plans to be an auto mechanic. We wish him the best of luck. 19
