1950 PAUL JUDE DULIXG Never a dull moment do I have. Paul, our senior bombshell! His curly blond hair and everlasting smile make him one of the most popular boys in the class. Life of the party, full of fun, and a sharp dresser fit Paul to a tee. One of our proud West-FitchburK residents, he made a bip hit in the Junior-Senior Recep- tion and in our senior assemblies. Paul hopes to enter the Marine Corps. Football, 2; Junior Assembly, 3; Junior-Senior Reception, 3. RONALD FRANCIS DUNN Whatever qualities I lack, I excel in height. One of the taller members of our class, Ronnie came to F. H, S. in his junior year, and has made many new friends since his arrival. Ronnie is usually seen driving his 1930 combination-parts vehicle, up and down Main Street. He is very much interested in photography and hopes to make a profession of it. MARY lONA DUPRE A smile that glows with friendship. lona is a slender brunette who loves all kinds of sports. She hopes to have her own motorcycle someday. At the present you can see her on her way to and from school in an old red and black car which is her pride and joy. Sometimes it even starts and the noise is terrific. As sprightly as they come, lona has many friends. Basketball, Alternate Representative, 2, 3. RICHARD PAUL ELANDER Music and I are the best of friends. Nimble fingers over eighty-eight keys and the result will prove Dick's musical ability. He is an excellent student, both musically and scholas- lically. A very neat dresser, he is also an avid sports fan. He plans to attend Tufts College after graduation and intends someday to become a surgeon. ELEANOR INGEBORG ENHOLM Meekness is the strongest of feminine characteristics. A quiet but funloving girl is Eleanor, who has a pleasing personality and possesses many friends. A participant in all types of sports, she especially enjoys basketball. She always appears neat and well-dressed, and looks at the bright side of things. With her determination, Eleanor will make a place for herself in whatever she chooses to do. Basketball, 2, 3; Volleyball, 2. 26

1950 ANTHONY FRANCIS DiPIETRO It is the mind that makes the man. Tony, who has attained exemplary marks during his F. H. S. years, speaks little but seems to know what's going on about him. Although he likes all sports, his gentle stature has prevented varsity participation at F. H. S. He won an Italian speaking prize in '48. His plans for later years are indefinite as yet. ARTHUR JOSEPH DiTOMMASO As quiet as he is tall. Art. that tall, rather quiet senior boy whom we quite often see driving around in a green truck is extremely interested in automobi'es. After high school he intends to make cars his hobby and vocation. Also interested in car-racing Art can be frequently seen during the summer and fall months at the local auto-racing meets. Arthur may enter Wcrces- tcr Trade School in the fall. Football, 2 ; Junior-Senior Relay, 3, 4. BARBARA ANN DODGE .4 quiet tongue doth rightly become a vjoman. Barb is a tall, vivacious blond, with a definite will of her own. .Al- though noted for being either serious or gay, she never loses her Iriendh disposition or splendid sense of humor. Concert music in particular appeals to her while basketball is her favorite sport. Barbara has ex- ceptional ability in both math and physics, and plans to enter college :'n the future. Basketball, 'olleyball, 2,3; Tennis, 3 ; Debating Club, 4 ; Glee Club, 2. CHARLES EDWARD DODGE, JR. The contented man is never poor. Shirley lays claim to the birthplace of Charlie. The proud owner of a model A , he may often be seen riding to and from Fitchburg, dur- ing the course of school days. He is a 'ocational student who has become quite skilled in woodworking. After graduating from high school, he intends to put his training to a practical use. Class Ring Committee, 3. ELAINE KATHLEEN DUFORT Whate'er she did, 'u:as done with so much ease. A calm, happy girl, Elaine is well liked in all classes. She enjoys all types of music, and is an active participant in the Youth Group activi- ties. With her attractive personality and pleasing manner we know that she will succeed in whatever her chosen field may be. 25

1950 RICHARD OSCAR ERICKSON As the stars shine, so does an athlete. Dick, ranks as one of the best known athletes in school. Every- thing he tries, he does well, as is witnessed by his stellar performances in football, track, and basketball. However, his versatility doesn't lie entirely in sports, for Dick is an honor student in school and is also active in dramatics. He plans to enter college and to follow a coaching pro- fession. Football, Track, 2, , 4; Basketball, 4; Junior-Senior Relav, 3, 4; Dramatic Club, 2, ; Glee Club, 1, 2, , ; Student Council, 3, 4; Com- petitive Play, 4; X'ariety Revue, 4; Class Play, 4. JAMES PAUL EWEN Not too serious, not too gay, A good fellow in every way. Jimmy's broad shoulders, height, flaming red hair and friendK grin help to make him a striking figure among us. He was a capable guard on our football squad and really loves the game. He has a fairly even disposition and is rather shy with girls. After high school he plans to go to college. Football, 4; Junior-Senior Relay, ; Junior-Senior Reception, . . CONSTANCE LOUISE FALES Little said is soonest mended. Connie, noted for her sweet disposition and sunny smile, has made a host of friends while at F. H. S. She has led a bus - social life outside of school, and is an avid supporter of all high school football and basket- ball games. Connie is also an active member of her youth group. She has not yet decided upon her future plans. ANNA MARION FARQUHAR .■ nd still they gazed, and the wonder grew. That one small head could carry all she knew. Combine prettiness, brains, and personality and the result is a combi- nation that is spelled A-n-n-a. Rare? Indeed, but much to our liking. Anna wants to make college her future career. The University of Mass- achusetts seems to be in the foreground, boasting the stiffest Freshmen course in the country. Even that can't faze Anna, who we know will be a success. JOAN THERESA FENNO Life is too short to worry. Joan's vitality is complemented by attractiveness, mischievous eyes, and a contagious smile. She is ambitious, willing to lend a helping hand where needed, and her popularity is based on the fact that she is so sincere. Joan is an ardent dance enthusiast. She would like to go on to college this fall.
