1950 CONSTANCE ISABEL BRIGGS There is eloquence in silence. Connie appears to be one of the quiet members of our class, but behind her demure manner we find gaiety and unknown humor. She ?s a nerson that you enjov being with. Connie was selected Wcrthy .'Ad- visor of the Rainbow Girls, the highest office of that organization. Her main interest is in Clinton, Massachusetts. Connie plans to enter Teach- ers College in the Fall. Basketball, Volleyball, 2, 4; Debating Club, Glee Club, 2; Ski Club, 3 ; Senior Prom Committee, 4. JUDITH BROWN That smile of mirth and gladness, and that flash of mischief, too. Full of pep and very original, Judy loves horses. Her room is cluttered with pictures and figurines of them. She has a hair style of her own. Judy drives a car with speed as we'l as accuracy. Besides being a good student, Judy is famous for her one handed volleyball playing. She plans to attend Middlebury college after graduation. Dramatic Club, 3, 4; Glee Club, 3; Ski Club, 3, 4; Class Ring, Junior Assembly, Junior Prom, Junior-Senior Xmas Party, 3; Red and Gray 3, 4; Competitive Play, 3; Variety Revue, 4; Class Play, 4. MILTON VINCENT BROWN A joke a day keeps the blues away. Mickey, as his friends call him, is a boy you would all be glad to meet. With his never ending smile and hilarious jokes you can't help but be contented. He doesn't let the thought of his lessons keep him awake nights, for he firmly believes in taking things easy. Mickey may be seen any time working at the A J Fruit Store after school. BRUCE CARLTON BUCK am not in the roll of common men. Bucky, as he is known by all his many friends, is that quiet fellow with the nice smile. His chief interest at the moment is in his sharped up car, Hot Rod. After graduation Bucky wants to join the armed forces, and we understand that the Navy is his choice. YVONNE ANITA CABANA Where words are scarce, they are seldom spent in vain. Yvonne is a very silent person, but full of high ideals. Her effer- vescent spirit produces a distinct personality which accepts life lightly, yet with a certain reserve. Although studies are decidedly not her favorite pastime, she manages to present a favorable report each time marks come around. Yvonne's plans for the future are still undecided. Basketball, 3. 19

lic Collider 1950 IVALENE MABEL BONNALLIE She smiled and the shadows departed. Ivy, as her friends call her, is a nonchalant but cheerful girl who likes to sew and take care of children. One of our brillant commercial students. Ivy has a special fondness for bookkeeping. Although her plans for the future are somewhat indefinite, Ivalene would like to attend Eastern Nazarene College. Baske tball, Volleyball, 2, 3. ALFRED JOHN BORBONE Strength and good nature go well together. Al has black curly hair and a friendly smile. He is an active member of the boy's Debating Club and has given some very interesting speeches on Driving a Car. In his spare time he is employed at Sears Roebuck and Company. We know he will have good luck in the future. Band, 2, 3; Debating Club, 3, 4; Orchestra, 3; Senior Class Orches- tra, 4. ELIZABETH ANN BOURN She is pretty to xvalk with, and witty to talk with. And pleasant, too, to think on. Bebe is one of our attractive majorettes who lends much color to our band and adds to our assemblies with her talent as a dancer. Although she has not decided on her future career, it is certain that whatever she undertakes, she will travel the road to success. CHARLES WALTER BOWEN Great men are dying and I am feeling ill I Chuckin' Charlie excels in sports and has been a great asset to our teams all through high school. His friendly disposition, his gift of gab, and his wonderful sense of humor have won him many friends. He is a neat dresser and is known for his boogie hats. After graduation he would like to enter the field of radio. Basketball, 3, 4; Football, 2, 3, 4; Junior-Senior Xmas Party, 3; Home Room Representative, 3, 4; Student Council, Variety Revue, 4; Class Play, 4. MARY LEE BRADLEY Studious and cheerful is she. Her name may be plain, but not so Mary. She is rather tall with dark eyes and wavy brown hair. A lover of music and dancing, she sings in the RoUstone Church Choir. Mary's performances as a dancer have pleased all of us. She is a secretary at Marion Rice's dance studio at the present time. 1950 JOAN ANGELA CALI Chatter helps the day roll by. Joanie, with her attractive appearance and pleasing personality, has made many friends during her four years at high school. She is the life of any party or group she is with, and her company is always in demand. Joanie is an active member of the class and is present at all the school functions. She is an excellent dancer and a much .sought- after partner. Dramatic Club, 3, 4; Glee Club, 2. RICHARD JOHN CAPUTI A good disposition that gold cannot buy. A very ambitious fellow, Dick spends his time after school working at Empire Shoe Rebuilders. Following a paternal influence, Dick loves to make woodworking projects. For a hobby he took up trumpet les- sons, and now it might even be his future. t night Dick can almost always be found at Maple's Luncheonette in Leominster, where he is usually surrounded by girls. Band, 2 ; Junior Assembly, 3 ; Senior Class Orchestra, 4. CHARLES EDWIN CARLSON Good humor is the health of the soul. Chuck is not only president of the Dramatic Club, but also presi- dent of the Massachusetts High School Dramatic Association. His ever- ready laugh and happy manner are distinguishing qualities. He loves baseball and plays a good game. After college, Chuck would like to either enter the radio field or play professional baseball. PAUL AUGUSTIN CASSINARI Quiet, let him dream on! A happy-go-lucky member of our class, Paul comes from the South Side. His fondness for printing is shown in his creditable work. Paul likes all sports, but his favorites are baseball and fishing. He is also an excellent partner on the dance floor. You can usually find him at Small's Store or at the Y. Baseball, 2, 3, 4; Football, 2; Junior-Senior Relay, 4; Ski Club, 3; Senior Reception to Faculty, 4. MARJORIE LOUISE CHORZEMPA A merry heart and a cheerful countenance. Margie, a lively miss who has a passion for lavender, is always bub- bling over with enthusiasm. Her remarkable sense of humor is just one of the reasons why she is so well liked by all who know her. Margie is a member of the Civil Air Patrol, the Rainbow Girls, and the Christ Church Choir. Office work will probably be included in her after grad- uation plans.
