The Boulder 3949 THOMAS MYLES DOOLING, JR. Good temper is like a sunny day. Although Tom is one of the quieter members of our class, he has a somewhat different way of making himself heard — he is one of our drummer boys. A loyal member of the F. H. S. band, he always has its best interests at heart. After graduation, we believe Tom plans to attend Holy Cross. Band 2, 3, 4; Debating Club 4; Dramatic Club 2, 3, 4; Junior-Senior Relay 3; Orchestra 2, 3, 4; Ski Club 4; Class Book 4. ALICE DORI The kind of girl who doesn't shirk, and is always ready to do her work. Alice, another of our part timers, is one of our busy girls around school. She always seems to find plenty to do in the way of helping others. Right now she is working part-time in a local store, but she also helps her father in the running of his gasoline station. Alice is well known for having a very pleasing and friendly personality. Volleyball 2; Tennis 3; Student Council 3, 4; Junior-Senior Reception 3; Glee Club 2, 3; Dramatic Club 2, 4; Basket- ball 2; Chairman Class Ring Committee 2, 3. LAWRENCE EUGENE DULING His friends are everywhere. Larry or The General, as he is known to all, came to Fitchburg High in his senior year after being discharged from the U. S. Navy. In the many debating forums in which he has appeared, Larry showed his ability in speaking. He is quite a sports star, especially in gym classes. Larry is now working at Harry Doehla's after school, but as to his future he has not made up his mind. Debating Club 4. THERESA CLAIRE DUPONT Little, but mighty. Theresa, better known as Muscles, is a diminutive lass from South Fitchburg. Loved by all, she is friendly and enjoyable to be with. Never with a frown or a look of depression, Theresa is always happy. Terry loves to swim and to dance. She likes animals, cats being her favorite. 5 h The Boulder 3949 JULIETTE BERTHA DENAULT She smiled and shadows departed. Julie is a very attractive girl and is quite popular among her classmates. One of Julie's favorite pastimes is roller-skating and she may often be seen at the Whalom Rink. There are so many fine things about her that we do not really know where to begin. Julie's plans for the future are domestic. Glee Club 2, 3. DONALD KENNETH DENTON Honor lies in honest toil. Don may be classified as somewhat of an expert. He knows all about cars, cameras, and almost any type of machine. Besides girls, he likes hunting and skiing, which he does as much as possible after his work is done. Don hasn't made any definite plans but he would like to go to Wentworth Institute of Technology. Home Room Representative 2 ; Write-up Committee 4. MARIE JEAN DiGERONIMO A friend to all she knew. A fun-loving, sports enthusiast is Marie. She enjoys a good time and always contributes her share of the fun. Among the sports she enjoys most, swimming, basketball, and ice-skating head the list. Marie is undecided about her future. May every success be yours, Marie. Basketball 2, 3; Volleyball 2. ANITA CHRISTINA DiMOLA Laugh and you are not alone. Shy, quiet Anita is actually one of the merriest, liveliest girls of our class. Not much studying is accomplished if Anita is present in a study class. She invariably keeps the class entertained with her amusing antics. Anita came to us from New York state. We 28

- 2s The Boulder ]919 GILBERT ANTHONY DUPRE He is a man of his own mind. Gil is that shy member of our class who rides around on a motorcycle. His main interest lies in that motorcycle and in re- modeling old jalopies so they are able to be put to use. Just because he doesn't appear to be interested in the opposite sex, we know this is not entirely true. Gil plans to be a mechanic after graduation. Junior-Senior Relay 4. EILEEN MARIE DUPRE Byes that sparkle as clear mountain waters. Eileen, a tall girl with sparkling brown eyes, can be seen almost anywhere about the school. We all know her as an ardent sports fan. She also likes sports which she can participate in her- self. Her pet hobby is horseback ridin g. She is planning to go into training at Worcester City Hospital after graduation. Basketball 2; Volleyball 4; Radio Club 3. CHARLES ARTHUR DUREN The great hope of society is individual character. Charlie, one of the quiet members of our class, came to us from Chelsea his sophomore year. His friends have been aston- ished at his knowledge of the Holy Bible. We know he can play a musical instrument and has a fine voice for singing, but due to his bashfulness, few of us have heard him. His plans for the future are indefinite but will undoubtedly include agriculture. LIONEL RICHARD EDES I say just what I think; nothing more nor less. Lionel is a boy who says little but thinks a lot. We believe he is a little shy. Lionel is a very sharp dresser. His favorite hobby is buying clothes of all types; almost every pay day he rushes off and buys something for personal adornment. He tries to make people think he can't dance, but we know differently. Lionel spends many of his evenings at the movies. Home Room Representative 2. 30
