The Boulder 1948 PAULINH FRANCl'S CASEY Light-hearled and conleni, I wander through the world. Pauline is a dark-eyed lass known to her many friends as Dully. Her smile and personality add a great deal to the attractive- ness of our class. Although Pauline has many hobbies, her greatest ambition is to design clothes. She has beep rather quiet about her plans for the future. MARY ANNE CASTELLI Little friends always prove great friends. That whizzing object which picks up speed on Water Street, gains more momentum on Mam, becomes invisible on Prichard, and blasts through the east entrance is Mary. She is never still. We have heard that school is only a side-line to her and she attends from force of habit. She loves dancing and the Cumings is a favorite with her. IRENE EXILDA CHALIFOUX chatter, chatter as I go. Irene, short but lively, has a devilish twinkle in her eyes. All her friends vouch for her wonderful sense of humor. Irene always looks as though she just stepped out of a fashion magazine. Her favorite pastimes are dancing and eating. Irene has no definite plans for the future as yet. Basketball, Volleyball 1, 2, 3, 4, Class Color and Flower Committee, Freshmen Councilor, Freshman and Sophomore Committee JEAN BARBARA CHALMERS Happy as the day is long. Jean, an attractive, well-liked girl from Westminster, can always be seen dashing from class to class. She is a lover of horses and from what we can gather, an excellent rider. After school she works at the telephone office in her home town. Jean finds time also for school work as her honor marks indicate. RICHARD DONELSON CHANDLER Of the great outdoors, he knows much. Tall and sandy-haired, shy until you know him. Chick regards girls with an air of indifference. Being what we would call a typical outdoor boy, he engages in every sport from basketball to fishing. He has a passion for motorcycles, and can be seen any time of day whizzing precariously around street corners. Chick's plans for the future are incomplete. 22
