EDWARD RUSSELL BEER Feic ivords suffice. Although Eddie is one of the more reserved members of our class, he is an all-around fellow. Besides being interested in all types of outdoor sports, he has done exceptionally well in his col- lege course studies. He is not certain of his future, but as long as he is able he will defend Waites Corner against all comers. Relay 3 RITA ANN BEGNOCHE Small but bright and friendly with all. Rita has light hair, gray eyes, and is short of stature. When- ever you see her walking down the corridor or in the various classes, she has a friendly smile for everyone. JOHN QUENTIN BENNETT A star in his own right — Every inch a champion. As a member of a class famed for individual versatility, Johnnie is one of our most versatile athletes. In addition he was promising on the basketball court in sophomore and junior years and a power on the hockey courts of this district. HAZEL BASILIC) An ounce oj mirth is worth a pound oj sorrow. Hazel is one of our part-timers who mix work and school in apparently well-halanced proportions. She hates to hurry allow- inn the world to go by at its own pace, but when something re- quires doing Hazel achieves a surprising agility which sends her down the corridor with her brown tresses flying. We'd like to know where she gets her rosy cheeks. Volleyball 2, Basketball 2, 3, 4 HELEN JENNIE BATURA As merry as the day is long. Helen, a pretty girl who loves to dance, can always be seen dancing at second lunch with her many admirers. We will truly miss her pleasing personality and cheery smile which should prove of great advantage in whatever field she may choose a career. Junior-Senior Reception Committee 3, Volleyball 2, 3, 4, Basketball 1, 2, 3, 4 GEORGE ADOLPHE BEAUCHAMP No worries ever trouble him. Although George only entered F. H. S. in his senior year, he has already made a favorable impression with his pleasing person- ality. George's main athletic interest is track and he should make a good addition to the high school track team. In his spare time George works at the Fitchburg Theater as an usher. Track, Relay 4 JEAN ELLEN BEAUMONT shall endeavor to enlighten all with wit. Beau is one of our dance enthusiasts. She enjoys good music especially Gershwin and Kern. Her pleasing personality is known to us all and she is forever laughing. We learned that she likes to write and does it well. She thrives on Italian food. Is that what keeps her slim ? Dramatic Club 1, 2, Junior Picnic Committee, Glee Club 1, 4 CHARLOTTE MAE BEER Saje within her heart nestles the seed oj perjection. Chili is all of five feet tall and has laughing blue eyes. She has a peculiar hobby — saving pennies. She is also adept at playing the piano and is quite artistic. Hailing from West Fitchburg, she is a good student and a sincere friend.
