CLASS OF '46 Lawrence Samuel Student He was honest and of an open, free nature. Dramatic Club, Band, 2, 3, 4, Orchestra, 3, 4, Class Prophecy, 4. Whenever one hears laughter, one can surmise that Stoogie must be the cause of it. He is one of the gayest members of our class. Business and finance seem to be his aims after High School, and he plans to attend Boston University, College of Business Administration. Kenneth Alan Sunne For him all the world was a stage. Dramatic Club, Glee Club, 2, 3, 4, Class Colors and Flower Committee, Senior Class Play. Because of his wit and humor, Kenny 'has made countless friends in both bis home town, Westminster, and in school. He particularly enjoys tripping the light fantastic. Kenny has plans to enter college where he will study to become a lawyer. Lucien Peter Thibault My days pass pleasantly away. Dramatic Club, 2, 3, Glee Club, 3, 4. Now here is a normal person, for Lucien likes girls and dancing and reading comic books. His ambition is to be- come a pharmacist in the Navy. Lucien's hobby is col- lecting snapshots of his classmates. William Harry Thomas Wit and wisdom are born with a man. Football, Dramatic Club, 4. Bill or Vaso is just one of the class who studies, works, and has a good time, too. Bill has been taking his last three years of High School in two years. Bill was a star lineman on the football team, this past year. Windsor Preston Towle I'll smile while the rest of the world goes by. Windsor is a Westminster gas station attendant who formerly came from Plainfield, New Jersey. His wavy, brown hair and his smile make him a favorite with the girls. When not at the station, he bowk, dances, plays golf or collects coins. Robert Henry Turve Good nature is a special charm. Orchestra, 2, Junior-Senior Reception Committee, 3. Bob is a curly headed fellow with a mischievous gleam in bis eyes. His antics in physics and radio keep Mr. Perkins guessing. He is a high honor pupil and even with hits fooling he keeps at the head of his class. He likes to go fishing. His bobby is photography. Mitchell David Vigoda So much one man can do. Dramatic Club, 2, 4, Debating Club, 3, Football, 3, 4. Big, husky, and smart, that's Mitch. He gets A's and B's in most studies. He puts his size to good use as a member of the football squad. Among other things, Mitch likes dancing. He plans to go to a school of optometry. James Albert Walker like fun like everyone. Dramatic Club, 2, 4. Jimmie is a cheerful boy with a winning smile. His fayorite hobbies are outdoor sports, suck as fishing, skating, hunting, swimming, and skiing. We have not heard what he plans to do. PAG P. 23

THE BOULDER 4 Anthony Leo Robuccio His good value we realize. Football 3, 4, Dramatic Club 4. Tony, co-captain of the team, is a fcoiball hero. We will never forget hits encouragement to his fellow players and his spirit on the field. His lusty laugh, which has rung through our corridors many times, is good evidence of his sense of humor and zest for life. Robert Edward Rouisse Huntsman rest! Thy chase is done. Bob is a perfect example of the strong, silent type. H's friends testify to hits joviality away from old F. H. S., but while in school he says very -little. Bob loves sports and comes regularly to all our football, basketball, and base- ball games. He is especially fond of hunting. Richard Thomas Secino On their own merits modest men are silent. Dick is a quiet, unassuming fellow whose main in- terest is aeronautics. An active member of the Air Scouts, he can often be found at his work bench constructing a model airplane. He plans to make aviation his future work. Allen Whitney Smith No one knows my hopes. Smitty, as the fellows call him, is a good-natured fellow who doesn't like sports too well, but he always appears at all school functions. Smitty is a part-timer for Mr. Howard in the high school bank. He wants to enter some form of business. Donald Edward Smith Oh, how he can dance'. Football 3, 4, Glee Club 4. Smitty is not too anxious about his studies but he is good-natured and well-liked by his fellow classmates. He played in the varsity backfield this year, and is also a very good dancer. His prime ambition is to be a big time drummer. Linwood Hopkins Smith Speech is great, but silence is greater. Glee Club 2. A real swell fellow is Smitty. He has brown hair, blue eyes, and a ready smile. Smitty likes horseback riding and football. After school he works at the Independent Lock Company. Lome Wedlock Stevenson Nothing is impossible to industry. Band. Lome is one of the tallest boys in our class and the tallest boy to represent his home town, Westminster. He plays the clarinet in the band. In the winter time Lome shovels neighbors' walks, and all year round he helps his father in all town affairs. Eddie John Strobel I'll find a way, or make one. Junior-Senior Reception 3. Eddie is a tall, slim, quiet fellow. He plays a pretty good accordion. He likes to dance and sings in a voice lower than anyone in school. He is interested in cars of any kind and is always tinkering with his own. Eddie works at Doehla's and after graduation plans to go to college. PAGE 22

THE BOULDER James Alfred Walker To be merry best becomes me. Relay, 3, 4, Dramatic Club, 4. Jimmie is called Red to distinguish him from the other James Walker. Red plays basketball for the Highland Baptist Church, and he also is interested in hunting. He plans to join the Marines. Ronald Grover Watson None but himself can be his parallel. Councillor, 2, Basketball, 2, 3, 4, Junior-Senior Recep- tion, Baseball, 3, Relay, 3, 4. Ronnie, one of our most popular boys, is interested in all sports and did a fine job as captain of our basket- ball team. He is a business manager of the Red and Gray and is also a member of the classbook committee. Besides this, he manages to have honor marks. He plans to attend Trinity. Charles Henry Whitney He is well paid that is well satisfied. Dramatic Club, 2, 4. Charlie is a stocky fellow with a merry grin who is definitely not on the quiet side. He is an active mem- ber of the State Guard and is very much interested in radio and guns. He works on a farm during the summer. After graduation, he would like to go to an aviation mechanics' school. Robert Lawrence Wirtanen Character makes its own destiny. Glee Club, 1, Band, 3. Bob's hobby is visiting out of town bands. His favor- ite is the sentimentalist Tommy Dorsey. Roller skating end dancing seem to take up most of his time. He is looking forward to the Naval Air Corps. Frank Dahlgren Wiswell Good cheer is no hinderam.ee to a good life. Meet another member of the vocational course who comes from West Fitchburg. Frank's favorite sports are fishing and hunting. Hence his great interest in guns. Frank will enlist in the Navy. Evan Williams Woollacott Dignity of manner. Councillor, 1, 4, Open Meeting, 2, Cheerleader, 2, Dramatic Club, 1, 2, 3, 4, Junior-Senior Recep ion, Clacs Color and Flower Committee, 3, Class Book Committee, 4, Senior Reception to the Faculty, Round Table, 4. Evan, a high honor student, has been a very active member of the Red and Gray board and the Boulder. He is quite a ping-pong player and likes basketball as well. Evan never misses a football game. Nancy Hale Adams am the master of my fate. Basketball, 2, 4, Dramatic Cub, 2, 3, 4, Color Com- mittee, 3, Glee Club, 3, 4, Tennis, 4. Nancy is a sports enthusiast, full of pep and vim. She takes care of all the little children on Blossom Street hill during her spare time. Nancy has an excellent voice and has sung in the Christ Church Choir for seven years. Norma Louise Adams Fair- she was to behold. Basketball, 2, Hockey, 4, Dramatic Club, 2. 3, 4. Norma is just naturally friendly. Sports interest her greatly, especially tennis, and her capability with knitting needles is unquestioned. We will always remember Norma for her conscientious effort, willingness to coop- erate, and her pleasing smile. PAGE 24
