She plans to become a Certified Public Ac- countant. Basketball 2, 3, Hockey 2, 3 Volleyball 2, 3, 4 Dramatic Club 2, 3, 4 Senior Prophecy Arleen Rita Foss Her sunny temper gilds the edge of life's black cloud. Arleen is a newcomer to our class this year. Her principal rec- reations are dancing, basketball, bowling, and badminton. She has made photography her hobby. Afier graduation she plans to at- tend business college. Basketball 4 Dramatic Club 4 Pauline Jennie Gerante She had a wish to smile; no need to sigh. Pauline is short, with brown hair, brown eyes, and a pleasant dis- position. Her hobby is collecting different shaped buttons. Her prin- cipal recreations are reading, bowling, and basketball. She plans to become a nurse. Basketball 2 Drama'ic Club 3, 4 Glee Club 4 Helen Ann Girouard is creditable to hold up one's spirit. Helen has a smile with a mis- chievious twinkle to forewarn you of fun. She collects snapshots and post cards, and lies to ski and skate. Helen has hopes of being a designer. Hockev 2, Basketball 3 Glee Club 2, 3 Dramatic Club 4 Janet Lois Fraas Knowledge comes but wisdom lingers. Janet has blond hair and attrac- tive blue eyes. She has collections of foreign dolls, and stamps. She plans to go to college and is in- terested in botanical research work. She won first prize in the Prize Speaking Contest her junior year. Basketball 2, 3, 4, Hockey 2, 3, 4 Tennis 2, 3, 4 Deck Tennis, Ping-pong, Badminton, Dramatic Club 2, 3, 4 Color and Flower Committee, Prize Speaking Contest 3 Debating Club 4 Mary Agnes Gallon Education is a possession which cannot be taken away. Mary is a brunette who always has a smile ready. She likes to bowl and roller skate. Mary find great interest in her hobby, photog- raphy. Volleyball 2, 3 Theresa Pauline Girouard The world smiles with her. Theresa is a short attractive girl with brown hair, and blue eyes. Her principal recreation is read- ing. She planG to become a nurse. Basketball, Hockey, 'Dramatic Club 4 Ruth Mildred Godin She's a regular girl in every way. Ruth's good nature is a tonic for her friends. She collects post cards and souvenirs from the various places that she visits. After grad- uation she plans to secure a good job to keep her busy until the right man comes along. BOULDER 19 4 3 William Jack Jamsa Character is a perfectly edticated will. William hopes to become a drummer in a big name dance or- chestra. He is interested in photog- raphy as well as music. He is al- so a hunting enthusiast. Football 3 Everett Antonio King A yoodly share of laughter in his eyes. Everett is one of our students from West Fitchburg. He works at the Fitchburg Theater after school hours. He has a fine collec- tion of popular phonograph rec- ords. Kyriacos Charles Kopsiaitis The pleasing punishment that women bear. Charlie is a very friendly, tall, dark-haired lad, whose laughter has brightened many a class room. He finds hunting, skating, and camping among his favorite recrea- tions. The collecting of stamps and cartoons leads among his hobbies. Charlie is considering either col- lege or the U. S. Air Force. Junior-Senior Reception Ring Committee 3 Dramatic Club 4 Henry Koval And gladly would lie learn. Henry is of medium build with dark hair and eyes. His principal recreation is playing basketball and mak;ng model planes. He hopes to become a pattern maker after he graduates. He won honor- able mention in the Advanced Biology Examination. Basketball 2, 3, 4, Relay 3, 4 Junior Prom 3 Ring Committee 3 Write-up Committee 4 Dramatic Club 4, Councillor Paul William Kujanpaa He that can be patient has his foe at his feet. Paul is a capable commercial student in school and an accordion- ist outside. He has a collection of pictures of famous orchestra lead- ers. He has hopes of doing secre- tarial or stenographical work after graduation. Business Manager, The Boulder Herbert Alfred Lashua The simplest record of thyself has worth. Herbert is a tall, quiet, good na- tured student. His principal forms of recreation are hunting and fish- ing. Herb collects stamps as a hob- by. He is interested in aviation. Football 2, 3, 4 Baseball 2, 3 Relay 2. 3 Ring Committee 3 Armand Arthur Ledoux He who speaks, sows: lie who js silent, reaps. Armand is a quiet but friendly person, who spent his spare time roaming the nearby woods hunting and fishing. Another patriotic senior, he joined the Navy in Jan- uary. Relay Joseph Harold Lemay His friends are everywhere. Harold's stocky figure is well known either on the football field or on the dance floor. He is an enthusiastic hockey and foo'ball player, and a good checker player. He has already joined the Marine Corps. Football PAGE 24

BOULDER 19 4 3 Richard Albert Liversage shall laugh myself to death. Dick's friendly grin and quick wisecracks are well known. His favorite pastime is getting to fires before the Central Fire Station en- gines. His hobby is doing car- pentry work. He plans to join the Army. Nicholas Joseph Macchio Deeds, not words. Nick, one of our happy-go-lucky students, did exceedingly well in pepping up our football team. He likes to read, although he is not a bookworm. He elected the ma- chinist course this year and plans to enter that field. Football 3, 4 Ray George MacCracken For courage mounteth with occasion. Ray worked in the cafeteria dur- ing the past year. He likes to go horseback riding. Ray has been working in one of the machine shops in Fitchburg and is pre- paring for a mechanical world. Thomas Salvatore Marabello When the disposition charms, the features are pleasing. Tom is a dark, black-haired lad with a certain enjoyment in being mischievous. His principal recrea- tions are reading, swimm'ng, skiing, and hiking. Having skilled hands, he hopes to be a machinist. He was manager of the F.H.S. football squad. Football 4 Napoleon Edmund Mathieu am part of all that I have met. Nappy is an all around athlete and an expert in roller skating, gym, swimming, and ice skating. He likes to build model airplanes and plans to fly the real thing for the army. Dramatic Club 4 Stanley Lucius Michelson A handsome face is a silent recommendation. Stanley is a good runner and was a member of the track team. Stanley likes to box, play pool, and write letters. He is interested in becoming an aviator or tech- nician in some branch of aviation. Track 3, Relay 3, 4 Dramatic Club 4 Eugene Leon Morand Without sweat and toil no work is made perfect. Eugene is of medium height with dark hair and eyes. His principal recreations are hunting, bowling, making airplane models, wood- work, photography, and fishing. His hobbies are collecting old coins and making clock frames from cracked airplane propellers. He in- tends to join the Army Air Force. Roger Gedeon Morin Glory follows virtue, as though it were its shadow. Roger already walks like a soldier, a posture he acquired in the drill team of St. Joseph's Ca- dets. He also played with the Rover Tiger baseball team which was the champion of the Inter- mediate Baseball League. Baseball 4 PAGE 26
