19 4 3 BOULDER Vasiliki Bessie Eleftherio By the work one knows the workman. Bessie is a rather tall girl, with brown eyes, brown hair, and a very pleasant smile. Her principal recreation is hikinq. Her hobby is stamp collecting. She plans to do office work after graduation. Hockey 2, 3 Basketball 3 Norma Elizabeth Erickson Congenial spirits part to meet again. Norma is a tall blond girl, with blue eyes, and a beautiful voice. Her principal recreations are read- ing, movies, bowling, hiking, and skating. Her hobby is collecting art songs of different countries. She plans to enter a college of mu- sic or the nursing field. Badminton 2 Glee Club 2, 3, 4 Dramatic Club 4 Violet Katherine Erickson Grace was in all her steps. Violet is one of our singers who have thrilled us at many perform- ances. She likes to knit and read but singing takes up most of her spare time. After graduation she hopes to make singing her career. Basketball 2 Glee Club 2, 4 Dramatic Club 4 Margaret Marilyn Fellows A girl with spirit and pep. 'Margy's captivating glances have enslaved all those that have come in contact with her. She had hopes of donning a WAVE uni- form but her age will prevent. Basketball 2, 3, 4 Hockey 2, 3, 4 Tennis 2, 3, 4 Ping-pong 2, 3, 4 Volleyball 2. 3, 4 Dramatic Club 4 Junior Prom Committee Lorayne Eleanor Ferguson The secret of success is constancy of purpose. Short, blond, and blue-eyed. She is a perfect bowler, as is proved by the medal she won. In the future we will hear Fergie saying, Num- ber please. Hockey 2 Volleyball 2 Dramatic Club 2, 4 Glee Club 3 Thanksgiving Dance Com. 4 Loretta Marguerite Finnigan Be glad and your friends are many. Loretta is always ready for a good chat. She bowls and skates as well as the best of them. Loretta is debating between business col- lege and nursing as her future career. Hockey 2 Basketball 2, 3, 4 Dramatic Club 2, 3, 4 Marjorie Anne Fisher It is dangerous to tread on one who has red hair. Midgie's glorious, red gold hair is the envy of the feminine part of the senior class. She is almost a professional at bowling, and arch- ery. Next year will find her at the Katherine Gibbs School in Boston. Dramatic Club 3, 4 Junior-Senior Reception Asst. Editor, The Boulder Round Table Muriel Jacqueline Forest Perseverance gains its meed. Muriel is one of the best girl athletes in school. She likes swim- ming and basketball. Stamp col- lecting is one of her hobbies. Mu- riel is also an accomplished es- sayist. Bobs blond hair, lively blue eyes, and noisy manner are well known in school, particularly in the cafeteria where he works. Out of school he enjoys fishing, skiing, and hunting. A career in one of the armed forces is his intention now. Dramatic Club 3, 4 Frederick Porter Greene Be bold, be bold, and everywhere be bold. Fred is one of our smaller boys who lately has sprung up to nor- mal height. He has I ght curly hair that is seldom combed. Fred is preparing to be an engineer. Raymond Joseph Hachey Serene, determined, kind, and true. In Ray we have one not too som- ber, not too buoyant. Ray enjoys reading; is a hunter of merit; and is a good camper. His principal plan for the future is joining the Army Air Corps. Harry Ernest Haueisen Slow and sure was his manner. Harry is a tall, quiet, blond boy. His principal forms of recreation are swimm ng and skating. He is interested in aviation and builds model airplanes as a hobby. Harry intends to enlist in the Army Air Corps. Track 3 Robert Durling Hedstrom Gold is met with by luck; a good disposition is found by nature. Bob is seemingly a rather quiet individual who divides his time between hunting, the Hi-Y, and studies. He would like to join the Army Air Corps. Relay 3, 4 Glee Club 3, 4 Phillips Andrews Hills, Jr. The glory of a firm, capacious mind. Phillips has blond wavy hair and a big smile. He drives to school in a blue streamlined car. He comes from We6tminster, but manages to go roller skating in Whalom, very often. Phillips plans to become a traveling auditor. Red and Gray 3, 4 John Walter Holland, Jr. This fellow's wise enough to play the fool. Jack must have been a descend- ant of Archimedes, as his knowl- edge is amazing. He is an accom- plished horseman. When summer rolls around Jack is kept pretty busy with his sailboat. Tennis 2, 4 Dramatic Club 2, 3, 4 Councillor William Patrick Hurley Wit and wisdom, are born with a man. A good looking gentleman hail- ing from the heights of West Fitchburg. Bill's favorite pastimes are hunting and roller skating. He is also a collector of guns. His am- bition is to become a gob in the U. S. Navy. Councillor 2 PAGE 22

He is al- so a hunting enthusiast. Football 3 Everett Antonio King A yoodly share of laughter in his eyes. Everett is one of our students from West Fitchburg. He works at the Fitchburg Theater after school hours. He has a fine collec- tion of popular phonograph rec- ords. Kyriacos Charles Kopsiaitis The pleasing punishment that women bear. Charlie is a very friendly, tall, dark-haired lad, whose laughter has brightened many a class room. He finds hunting, skating, and camping among his favorite recrea- tions. The collecting of stamps and cartoons leads among his hobbies. Charlie is considering either col- lege or the U. S. Air Force. Junior-Senior Reception Ring Committee 3 Dramatic Club 4 Henry Koval And gladly would lie learn. Henry is of medium build with dark hair and eyes. His principal recreation is playing basketball and mak;ng model planes. He hopes to become a pattern maker after he graduates. He won honor- able mention in the Advanced Biology Examination. Paul is a capable commercial student in school and an accordion- ist outside. He has a collection of pictures of famous orchestra lead- ers. He has hopes of doing secre- tarial or stenographical work after graduation. Business Manager, The Boulder Herbert Alfred Lashua The simplest record of thyself has worth. Herbert is a tall, quiet, good na- tured student. His principal forms of recreation are hunting and fish- ing. Herb collects stamps as a hob- by. He is interested in aviation. Football 2, 3, 4 Baseball 2, 3 Relay 2. 3 Ring Committee 3 Armand Arthur Ledoux He who speaks, sows: lie who js silent, reaps. Armand is a quiet but friendly person, who spent his spare time roaming the nearby woods hunting and fishing. Another patriotic senior, he joined the Navy in Jan- uary. Relay Joseph Harold Lemay His friends are everywhere. Harold's stocky figure is well known either on the football field or on the dance floor.
