19 4 3 BOULDER Lucille Joyce Comley With her eyes in flood with laughter. Lou has merry blue eyes, a hearty chuckle, and an ever ready wit. A versatile person, she enjoys reading, riding, swimming, and especially basketball games. In the future she hopes to be L. Comley, R.N. Glee Club 3 Dramatic Club 4 Councillor Norma Jean Condon Always friendly as can be. Norma has sparkling eyes and twinkling dimples. Fishing, swim- ming, ice skating, and studying keep her busy after school. She plans to take up office work or teaching. Dramatic Club 4 Elizabeth Cook To be merry becomes you. Betty is about 5 ft. 5 in. tall with light brown hair. Her favorite recreations are bowling, riding, and skiing. She has large collections of s'amps and pic'ures. She plans to join the WAACs aft;r graduat'ng. Hockey 4 B ske'ha'l 4 Glee Club Dramatic Club Janet Louise Cossaboom Perseverance keeps honor bright. Janet is a gay miss from West- minster. She likes to draw, and has attended Miss Nason's art classes. Her hobby is collecting toy dcg-. S'le hopes to become an interior decorator. Glee Club 3, 4 Dramatic Club 4 Nancy Elizabeth Crown The mildest manners and the kindest heart. Nancy is a pleasant, smiling girl, always readv to help. She enjoys hiking and bow'ing. She is in- terested in being a gymnastic teacher. Elizabeth Mae Currier Those who are faithful find happiness. Elizabeth's principal recreations are dancing and roller skating. For a hobby she collects novelty pins and also photographs of all her friends. She hopes to become a nurse aher graduation. Doris June Cushing A smile that alows with friendship. What Cush lacks in size, she makes up for in noise and activity. She dances, hikes, bowls, plays hockey and basketball. As a hobby she takes Denishawn lessons. She intends to be a nurse. Glee Club 2, 4 Basketball 3, 4 Hockey 3, 4 Junior Senior Reception Dramatic Club 4 Ruth Elizabeth Deery The good I stand on is my truth and honesty. Ruth is a quiet, dark girl from West Fitchburg. She is a great .sports-woman, liking swimming, skiing, and skating. She has a big collection of souvenirs of persons and places she has known. She hopes to become a nurse. Dramatic Club 4 PAGE 19

BOULDER 19 4 3 Robert Joseph Dauphinais A champion courts danger, and considers what he may accomplisii not what he may suffer. Robert is rather big and used his weight on the foo'.ball team l?st year. He was President of the St. Joseph Cadets and won many medals directing them. He has chosen aviation as his work af.er finishing this year. Raymond Francis Donovan find earth not gray, but rosy. Ray, is a tall, blond, handsome fellow. Baseball and ping-pong are his favorite pastimes. Formally of Natick, he is spending his first year at 'F. H. S. Being very business- like he hopes to attend the School of Accounting at the University of Alabama. Carl Thomas Douai In ivliose little body lodged a merry mind. Carl has curly sandy hair and cute eyes. He has a large and varied collection of rocks for his hcbby. Carl has won many medals from the Y.'M.C.A. He plans to go to college. Football 2 (Relay 3 Dramatic Club 4 Color Committee Duncan Douglas None but himself can be his parallel. Duncan is a small, good-natured, well-liked student. His principal recreation is basketball. He is in- terested in aviation and music and is a member of the high school band. Duncan plays in many in- dependent orchestras. He would like to join the Air Corps after graduation. Relay 3 Robert Joseph Duval For they conquer who believe they can. Bob's quiet exterior hides his buoyant humor, and his keen love for hunting and driving. His prac- tical nature makes him a logical choice for a machinist course. He, too, plans to enter the Navy. Robert William Erickson So much is a man worth who esteems himself. Robert has been one of our ef- ficient stage hands. He likes to hunt and to collect stamps. He is also an adept builder of model air- planes. Robert has taken the machinist course and intends to be- come a machinist. James Femino d'-'P do all that may become a man, Who dares do moie, is none. Jick, although quiet, is a good athlete and has done a good job on our basketball and baseball teams. He soends his leisure time hunting and f'shing. He plans to go to Holy Cross to study chemistry. Basketball 2, 3, 4 Baseball 3, 4 Anthony Santo Ferrara The will to do, the soul to dare. Tony is a well-liked, brawny athlete, who takes part in all ac- tive sports, but football, basebill, and basketball in particular. His hobby is collecting pictures of famous sport characters. BOULDER 19 4 3 Alexander Morton Ferris He that is friend to himself, is friend to all. Al is a good piano player and has played in the school orchestra and many independent orchestras. Al impersonated Eugene Lak:o at the Junior-Sen:or Reception. Hs ambition is to be a piano player in a famous orchestra. Norman Paul Forest He only is a well made man who has a good determination. Norman is a quiet boy who likes to go hunting and fishing. He plans to put this aside for the time being and give Uncle Sam a lift. Football 2 Robert Nicholas Francavilla A laugh is worth a hundred groans in any market. Bob is a lanky good-looking young fellow. He is one of our best dancers and also plays a good game of basketball for an ou'side team. Bob plans to enter the U. S. Marine Corps. Robert Francis Fournier Where the stream run'; smoothest, The water is deepest. A future doer of deeds of derring do whose exploits can hardly sur- pass those of his high school career. He enjoys skiing and skating. He plans to join the Army Air Corps. Dramatic Club 3, 4 John Gilman Fuller Not too serious, not too gay, a good fellow in every way. Jackie will always be remem- bered as the best soda-jerker in town. He loves hunting and plans to pursue a similar course in the United States Army. Roland Ingalls Gay Whatever it resolves on, the human mind can effect. Aviation has at least one ardent disciple in Roland. In addition to constructing model airplanes, he has taken the aviation course and intends to make aviation his future work. He likes to read, hunt, bowl, play football and baseball. James Gelep Life is a jest, and all things show it. I thought so once, but now I know it. Jimmy has a keen sense of humor and a happy-go-lucky manner. H;s blue eyes and brown hair make him one of the good looking boys of the class. He left us early this year to enter the Navy. Basketball 2, 4 Edwin Kay Gerhart Genius only leaves behind it the monuments of its strength. Ed Mme to F.H.S. in our senior year. He was a good student espe- cially in science.
