19 4 3 BOULDER CLASS OFFICERS Roderic Amro Hyatt With me for your guide, ye men, dispel your anxious cares. Dignity, poise, and personality have made Pete a popular and successful president. Although he had an injured knee and could not participate in strenuous sports, Pete enjoyed hunting and watching the more active sports. He had to be away from us part of the time this year because he elected the machine- shop course, but he carried out his official duties just the same. Since machines, have always fascinated him, Pete plans to become a navy machinist. Football 2 Class President 3, 4 Bend Sales and Junior Victory Committee Thanksgiving and Senior Prom Ticket Committee Seneca Perry Congdon Gee, but I'm a busy man! Perry was one of the lucky ones who started in at Tufts in January. We missed his wise-cracking and joking which helped make him so popular as our class treasurer. On the serious side, Perry's ability to get results in all that he did, will probably carry him far in the future. He was particularly interested in dramatics, dancing, swimming, eating, talking, and any class activity. Class Treasurer Dramatic Club Treasurer French Club 1 Student Council 1, 2 Debating Club 2 Open Meeting Barbara Jean Stevens Things won are done, joy's scraZ lies in the doing. A pair of big brown eyes, a captivating smile and personality plus best describe our worthy vice-president. Barby has been an irreplaceable constit- uent of the class of '43. What would our cheering section have done without Barby? Or the Dramatic Club or the Red and Gray? Always bubbling over with joy Barb was never found to be a dull companion. Basketball 2; Dramatic Club 2, 3, 4 Cheer Leader, Red and Gray 3, 4 Open Meeting 3; Class Vice-President. Jean Marie Rowan Never idle a moment, but thrifty and thoughtful of others. A pretty, blond secretary is the dream of every business man. The class of '43 has the perfect model in Jeanie. But, to the contrary, she plans to be a libra- rian. Despite her many official duties, Jeanie finds the time to play basketball, keep on the honor roll and be one of the most popular girls in school.
