He likes to drive very much and doesn't consider driving a delivery truck work. Walter wants to be an aviator and is considering the possibility of being a commercial air pilot. Robert Leonard Hoellrich Wisilo7n is alivays an overmatch for strenyth. Bob is one of the few boys who had the courage to take third year stenography. Besides doing his part-time work for Miss Ranney and Mr. Hubbard, and the studying required for the senior commercial course, he also works for his father. Fishing and skiing are his pet sports. Bob will probably seek a secretarial position. Kenneth Hough Always ayreeable and cheerful is he. He is very much the sport enthusiast, for he enjoys golf, skating, bowling and swimming. He is secretary of the Hi-Y club. He later plans to be a member of the telephone company. Glee Club, Dramatic Club. Malcolm Laselle Hunt A good memory is an essential element of yenius, Mai is blond and energetic. His keen mind has made him shine in both math and science. An excellent bowler, he was appointed to the advisory board of the newly-formed bowling league. He has a way of driving a car which is peculiarly his own. He intends to become a surgeon. Red and Gray Board, Class Motto Committee. Roy Edward Hurd What sweet deliyhts a quiet life affords. Roy works for Mansur's Dairy and also on a farm after school hours. He comes to us from Westminster. He is one of their local Boy Scouts. Ho is interested in hunting and fishing. Relay Team. Marion Melta Hawes Wot too serious, not too gay A very good friend in every way. Marion, although seeming to be a rather quiet person, is full of vim and vigor. She is active socially and is a junior member of the Woman's Club. Canine pets interest her and she is especially fond of a small white canine with a black ear. Marion plans to become a laboratory technician after graduation. Volleyball. Dramatic Club. German Club, Latin Club, Write-up Committee of Boulder, Councillor. June Dagmar Hendrickson A merry heart maketh a merry countenance. Junie is a very cute, slender girl, with a warming smile and friend- liness. She fikes to knit in her spare time, and takes a great interest in sports. Her ambition is either to study embalming or to be a nurse. Nancy Howard She taketh most delight in dancing. Nancy's aim in life is to become a great dancer. During almost everyone of her lunch periods she dances with Lucy. After graduation she may attend a dancing academy. Deck Tennis, Dramatic Club, Glee Club, Junior Prom Committee. Helen Marie Hoye Cheerily greeting each oncoming day Gilding with smiles each step of the way. Helen's lovely curly hair makes her a very attractive young lady. She is very cordial, always smiling, and ready to make friends. Helen is a senior Girl Scout and her hobby is collecting all sorts of per- fumes. After graduation Helen plans to be a hospital historian in one of the large Boston Hospitals. Dramatic Club. Velma Elizabeth Hughes Her friendly smile rvill take her far. Velma has big brown eyes and a few freckles. She is a member of the Christ Church Choir and has belonged to a sewing club for ten years. Her hobby is photography. She plans to work for a year and then go in training at the Burbank Hospital.

1942 David Earle Hay He is witty, he is wise. He's a terror for his size. Bud is always well-dressed. He spends his free time working in Montuori's garage and also drives a snappy roadster of his own. Intra- mural Basketball, Glee Club. Frank Henry Healey Devout yet cfieerftil, active yet resigned. Frank works as a clerk in Brockelman's Market after school, and still he manages to get his homework done to perfection. Frank is a good chess player and likes to bowl. He intends to study engineering at Worcester Tech after graduating. Relay Team, Debating Club, Junior Prom Committee, Write-up Committee for Boulder. Norman Edward Hecker When he speaks, he speaks his mind. Norman, our tall rangy tennis captain, also played guard on our basketball team. When not engaged in either of these sports, he works in Brockelman's Market. His serious expression shows nothing of his fun-loving disposition. He is undecided as to his plans for the future. Tennis, Basketball, German Club. David Joseph Herlihy He touches nothing but he adds a charm. Dave is an all around sportsman who enjoys hunting, fishing, golf and bowling. Dave may be found at all the dances. After graduation he plans to enter a prep school, then to go on to college. Glee Club, Marshal. Douglas Elwood Hicks He thinks before he speaks. Everyone likes Dougie who always says bright things. He is an active member of the Westminster Band and the high school one. He likes dancing, especially the old-fashioned kind. He plans to be a car- penter. Band, Orchestra. Eleanore Irene Gould The sweet speech of her alluring eyes. Collecting post-cards and raising kittens are two of Eleanore's favorite pastimes. She wants to attend a business college and become a doctor's assistant. Dramatic Club. Shirley Edson Gray At times quiet, at times gay She has moods to suit the day. Shirley sometimes puzzles even her friends. One moment she is quiet and dreamy, and the next, she becomes high spirited and ready for fun. She enjoys dancing very much. She plans to beautify American woman- hood as a hairdresser. Glee Club, Dramatic Club. Lucille Claire Grenier She's here, she's there, slie'x nil about Lots of pep and a real good, scout. This little French girl has big blue eyes and long brown hair. She belonged to the Girl Scouts for eight years; she collects old sayings and mottoes. Lucille is very active and is proud that she comes from Westminster. She plans to be a child psychologist. Dramatic Club, Glee Club. Dorothea Mae Grieumard A quiet manner hid the mischief in her eye. Dot has beautiful serious hazel eyes. She has been working for the past year as a Nurse's Aid at the Burbank Hospital. She has also been a member of the Girl Scouts for six year.s and spends her spare moments designing clothes and in other art work. Dottic later plans to enter the Roosevelt Hospital School of Nursing m New York. Dramatic Club. Betty Anne Hakkila I'll find a uvty or make one. Shy little Betty, from Westminster, has strikingly blond hair. She works part-time at the school library for Miss Sherwin. Her main in- terests at pre.sent arc football and basketball games, driving a car, and dancing. She plans to work in an office after high school. Dramatic Club.

1942 Frank lannaccone Great men are the true men. Frank hails from one of (he defense minded families of Fitchburg, for two of his brothers are in the service and Frank wishes to follow them in the navy. He tinkers with radios when not occupied in sports. William Anderson Kendall Blushing is the colour of virtue. Bill is really an expert on skiing. He makes and repairs skis as well as uses them. Bill also played as a guard on the football team. He plans to operate his own dairy farm after graduation from school. Football, Relay Team. Edgar Onias Kirouac He is a man diligent in his business. Edgar's pleasing comedy has often raised a sound of merriment in cur halls and class rooms. He is interested mainly on meteorology and biology. Three years ago Ed won a penmanship prize in Worcester. He plans to enter college after graduation. Norman Edward Koski Our ideals are our better selves. Norman can really draw. His pictures have appeared in the Red and Gray. He likes to play baseball and is a member of the Lowe A. C. Ball Club. Baseball. Robert Stanley Lafleur Nature has written- gentleman. Aviation has one ardent disciple in Bob. In addition to constructing quantities of model plan es, he follows the progress of aeronautics for ils practical value and plans to learn flying as a hobby. He is also interested in the Boy Scouts. After graduation Bob plans to take up drafting. Mary Ann lannuzzi Continual cheerfulness is a sign of wisdom. Mary is a commercial student. She can always be distingui.shed by her serious attitude. She is a member of the Dixie Land Minstrels for which she sings. Her only ambition is to be a secretary. Glee Club. Dramatic Club, Hockey, Basketball, Volleyball. Louise Isabel Jack Her presence lends it loarmth and health To all who come from it. Louise is a happy-go-lucky kind of person. Although she doesn't care much for studying, she really works hard at Burbank Hospital. Louise hopes to make hospital work her life work. She also has a verv interesting hcbby of collecting pictures of England's Royal Family. Louise is, you see, very much the loyal Scot. Phyllis Arlene Jackson None but herself can be her parallel. Phyl has blue eyes and blond hair. She likes to camp in the wilds of New Hampshire. She is a working girl this year and spends her time after school hours at Kidder and Davis' store where she plans to continue to work after graduation. Field Hockey, Basketball, Vol- leyball, Deck Tennis, Aerial Darts, Junior-Senior Reception. Barbara Marion Jeffery Here's a maiden withoxit pretense Blessed with reason and common sense. Barbara is very petite and dark and ha-s a rather quiet, bashful nature. She is an active member of the Mariners, a branch of the Girl Scouts. She likes outdoor life, and has many hobbies, among which are Scout work, sewing, and reading. She is greatly interested in aviation. Basketball, Dramatic Club, Band, Councillor. Beverly Martha Jeffrey Cheerful, good-natured , and self-possessed. Bevie has pretty red hair and blue eyes. She collects novelty pins and postcards of which she has a varied collection.
