1942 Herbert Joseph Feinberg The mirror of all courtesy. Herb has a very friendly nature and an appealing personality. He is a great athlete and plays all sports, although baseball is his favorite. His hobby is playing the saxophone in an orchestra. At present he would like to study for the medical profes.sion. Baseball, Basketball. John Dennison Foss He accomplishes much in a little time. Jack was a tackle on the foot ball squad. He follows all sports. Jack intends to become a salesman, although he would like to take a busi- ness course of some kind. Football, Glee Club, Councillor. Herbert Stevens Gage Not a word with him but is a jest. Buddy is one of the musical Gages. He plays in orchestras, bands, and sings cowboy songs. He likes baseball, hockey and excels in swimming. He has received prizes in diving at a Boy Scout Camp and at the Christian Endeavor Camp at Amherst College. He wants to continue drumming in a band. Baseball, Intramural Basketball, Band, Orchestra, Senior Class Play (1941), Snow White Revue. William Sidney Gage His goodness doth disdain comparison. Bill has thrilled us as a star fullback on our football team for the past three years. Although he hails from the back woods of West- minster, he is an all around athlete and enjoys baseball, basketball, and ice hockey. He is also an active member of the school orchestra. After graduation, Bill plans to join the Navy. Football, Baseball, Intramural Basketball, Orchestra. Robert William Gallant A smile for everyone and pleasure bent. Robert is another quiet student, at least in his home room. He acts very shy when in the presence of ceri.un girls. Like many out of town boys he is interested in hunting and fishing. He also likes to travel. At present he works at Brockelman's. Lois Marjorie DuLong Wit to persuade, beauty to deliyht. Marge was little known by most of her senior classmates because she left at the beginning of the senior year. Her sparkling eyes and chic hair styles distinguished her in any group. Frances Cecile Dunn True to her word, her work, and her friends. Frances is tall and dark and is usually gaily laughing. She has been taking elocution lessons for a number of years and is greatly interested in It. She is one of the advisors of the Younq Judea. She would like co be a beautician, Basketball, Volleyball, Deck Tennis, Badminton, Dramatic Club, Glee Club. Aileen Marie Durkin Her ready speech flowed fair and free. Aileen is a little senior with hazel eyes. Her favorite activities are dancing and go'ng to movies. She collects baubles such as toy dogs and elephants. She has not decided what to do in the future. Dorothy Louise Erickson Zealous yet modest. Dottie is a regular outdoor girl who often hikes to her camp at Wy- nian's. She is also an expert swimmer. She plans to do office work and at the present is employed at Mr. Foster's office. Badminton, Basket- bi;ll, Dramatic Club. Mary Frances Falzone A yoodly share of laurjhter in her eye. Mary is characterized by her tiny st. lure and curly hair. As a hobby, she collects autographs and photogranhs. She likes to roller skate and dance in her spare time. 1942 Clayton Albert Eaton His wise rare smile is sweet with certainties. Clayton works as a page at the Public Library. He has an interesting collection of stamps from different pariS of the world. He is a member of the Boy Scouts and belonged to the Y. He wants to be a research chemist. German Club. John William Elliopulos The good are always the merry. John is a calm, quiet, likable fellow who never becomes disturbed by anything. Though an exceptional basketball player, outside work has prevented him from playing in a Red and Gray uniform. He is an authority on all current sports. John expects to enter Boston University where he will take a business course. Dramatic Club, Class Colors Committee, Intramural Basketball. Roy Melvin Emanuelson Kind, quiet, always neat. Roy has blond hair, blue eyes, and a Nordic grin. He really s' ars in skiing and has won a couple of ski races on Mt. Wachusett. He is a member of the Fitchburg Ski Club and the Hi-Y. Basketball, Dramatic Club, Councillor, Class Ring Committee, Sophomore Cheer Leader. Allan Enholm Good works make the man. Allan played center excellently. He likes all sports and dancing. Though rather quiet and bashful he has a good scholastic standing. He plans to be an aeronautical engineer. Football, Baseball, Basketball, Councillor. George Joseph Faatz Education makes the man. George doesn't care about dancing or girls, but spends his time on his fascinating hobby — the radio. He is a member of the Recreation Radio Club. He plans to go to Gallups Island Maritime Service Train- ing School in Boston to study on a ship. German Club. Cecile Claire Desrosier Some credit in being jolly. Cecile has an interesting collection of stamps from all over the world. When she works in an office, she no doubt will widen her collection with many interesting stamps. She enjoys seeing the big orchestras and of course dancing to them. Bessie Diamond Eyes of brown, lusty hair Always with some fun to share. Bessie is a brunette, with dancing dark eyes, full of appealing friend- liness. Although she is tiny, she has proved herself as a basketball pl.iyer. After graduation, Bessie hopes to sing with a dance orchestra. Basketball, Dramatic Club, Junior Prom Committee, Red and Gray Board, Councillor. Eleanor Joan DiGloria She is pretty to walk with And witty to talk witli. Eleanor is an excellent dancer, skater, and bowler. When not oc- cupied in these pastimes, she enjoys a little volleyball and basketball. She has the voice of a nightingale but refuses to admit it. Hockey, Volleyball, Basketball, Glee Club. Yvonne Eva Dufort Lots of pep and a real good scout, Yvonne likes out-door sports. In the summer swimming and bicycle riding take the lead, while winter offers skiing and skating. She would like very much to work in an office as a secretary or stenographer after graduation. Volleyball, Basketball. Eleanor Gertrude Duggan Few things are impossible to diligence and skill. Eleanor is tall, dark, and always attractively dressed. She is an active member of our Glee Club and is also active in Girl Scout work. Tiavel is one of her chief interests. She spent this past summer visiting the western and southern States. After graduation she would like to become a dental assistant.

BOULDER 1942 Page 20 Anthony Joseph Gallo Mischief, thou art afoot. Tony is a busy lad, for he not only has his schoolwork to do, but, he also works part-time at Spencer's. He is a faithful member of the Columbian Jrs. He would like to become a dentist. Track, Dramatic Club. Victor John Gamache Prudent, cautious self control. Victor is a dark, silent cyclist from the western part of our city. He also likes to swim, box, and wrestle. He hasn't decided on his future work but he admits you might find him in his father's bicycle shop. Track, Glee Club. ■Vassilios Gamvas Tho' modest, on his tnenibarrassed brow. Bill is interested in two of the classics — art and music, but his profession will not be in either of these fields. He is going to study theology at a school in Connecticut. Vito Sebastian Gerante Full of pep, easy to please. Vito is not afraid to express his opinion on any question and he will fight to uphold his viewpoint. Besides playing hockey, football, and basketball in his spare time, Vito helps his father, who is a contractor. Paul James Gilmartin You have a merry heart. Paul has a refreshingly different personality and an everlasting good natured disposition. His hobby is playing baseball; he is a member of the Lowe A. C. team and of the Fitchburg Blue Sox. He also plays the saxophone in an orchestra. After he graduates, he plans to study en- gineering. Baseball, Orchestra. Rosamond Elaine Fellows She's not a flower, she's not a pearl She's just an all-Anierican girl. An enthusiastic and peppy cheerleader, Rozzie has always had the cheering section at her command. She is the vice-president of the Dramatic Club. She has turned in excellent performances in both junior and sophomore Open Meeting plays. She is also interested in dancing and bowling. After graduation, she would like to work in one of our department stores. Basketball, Volleyball, Tennis, Dramatic Club, Open Meeting, Class Ring Committee, Junior-Senior Reception, Cheer Leader. Yola Mary Ferazza hear a charmed life. Short and dark, Yola belongs to a club called the Y.G.C. She has a collection of picture post cards ' ent by friends from many places. Like others of the class, she plans to go to Worcester Trade School to learn hairdressing. Shirley Fletcher A dancing shape and image gay To haunt, to startle, and waylay. Shirley is an ardent follower of the dance. She has friendly grey eyes and quiet smile. She is quite an artist and goes in for archery too. She's undecided about her future career but may become a secretary one day. Glee Club, Dramatic Club. Alice Foltak Her voice was ever soft. Alice is a rather quiet brown-eyed girl. She plans to go to business college and wants to be a private secretary. She has already received two shorthand certificates. Jennie Foltak As fair and gay as slie can be. The Juliet of the second floor, Jennie has a fondness for boys and vice-versa. She likes to swim, roller skate, and dance. A true commer- cial student, she would like to be a secretary in some business firm.
